Tonight it really is down to the formation. Fellaini has had a shitter, doesn't know what's going on. Mata is out there somewhere. Rooney seems to be in the bust part of his fortnightly cycle.

Bit of a shit first half but not as bad as you negative fecks are making out. We looked comfortable enough when we're defending, its just since the injury to Smalling we've looked collectively nervous on the ball.

Fellaini has been dreadful, even compared to last seasons standards. Worst player on the pitch. McNair was poor and deserved to be subbed too. Attackers aren't getting on the ball enough but its been better since the sub with Herrera on.

Absolutley over run at the end, i thought we were going to 4-4-2 but then Carrick dropped back. we have to go 4-5-1 in the second half, Rooney needed in midfiled to break up play.

Terrible, terrible performance. Almost as bad as the Arsenal game in terms of defending. And tbf at least in the Arsenal game we had a counter attacking outlet in Di Maria. This system just doesn't work with the players we have playing it.

Feel sorry for McNair but he was well well out of his depth. Same can be said of Fellaini in this deeper role he is for some reason playing.

Unless we change system this will be a loss unless we have an incredible amount of luck like against Arsenal

We have been utterly awful.

We were handed our goal through a Southampton mistake, we have done nothing since. Until Herrera came on did we actually create a single chance worthy of the name?

Did we forget about midfield in our preparation for this match? Our only out ball seems to be long to Fellaini, who seems to have gone totally to s-t today. In our last two matches our opponents two goals have come from Fellaini foul ups. Go figure.

So much wrong with how we set up for this game. We went out ultra defensive and seemingly trying to overcome Southampton in a physical battle. Crazy. Look how Evans ran through them? If we actually tried to out play them we would!
