Apart from being ahead at the half way mark, the most important aspect is the boost to Rashford and Martial’s confidence. Pogba playing a part in the second goal also helps.
I agree with others that we aren’t controlling the game as we should be. There’s not a lot to beat but we aren’t particularly convincing.

If I'm being honest, then it's Rio and Vidic, everything since has been far below the level of a top class team. De Gea now being part of the problem for the last 2 years or so highlights this even more. And this playing out from the back with players who aren't technically gifted enough is beyond me.
The playing out from the back is walking a tightrope. I don’t know why we do it, none of our players have the composure to do it whatsoever. Teams have clocked on to how bad we are at it, I’ve noticed we’re pressed whenever we try it by teams who rarely press.

I don't know about clinical, but a nice stat nonetheless

Best away team to open a Premier League season of all time in fact.

With a win or draw here we'll also remove a club record from the 30s. Manchester United has the league record for worst point total after 13 games set in the 1930/31 season. That new record will belong to Sheffield United in 45 minutes plus injury time.

People creaming themselves over that Pogba pass.

Dumbest assist ever. He had zero fecking idea where Martial was, or if anyone will go for a run in.

A championship keeper picks that out with ease.

The salt. He has been our best player just like he was versus Leipzig.

    No agenda.
    You're spot on!
    A percentage pass.

Wonder what that percentage is though.
That happens in football, I don’t see the big deal? He’s said here martial get on your bike and that’s what happened. Good creative play.

Bless Sheffield Utd. They tried but maybe that energy should’ve been saved for the previous 12 games this season.

If we don't buy a CB in January we are crazy. If we don't buy one before next season its an absolute disgrace. These two aren't the answer sadly.

Bruno does that about 10 times a game. Believe it or not, if the team was well coached you’d probably see more passes like that. The player on the ball should be able to anticipate where runs are being made.

Matic off for VdB thanks. He is so slow he pretty much nullifies all of our attacks. Defensively he's been very poor as well.

I thought Matic was immense in some of our games last season, but hes been shite so far this season.

Just saw their goal in the studio, Maguire has the ball and McKendrick puts him under pressure, all Matic has to do is move 5 yards and Maguire can easily play out, instead he just stands behind him which forces Maguire to pass it back to the keeper.

If we want to play out from the back we need to fecking move

I spat my wine out when he said that Pogba wasn’t fouled but the Sheff U lad was at the end of the half by Lindelof. Literally couldn’t talk more shite!
I know yeah. Faint praise through gritted teeth. Amazon really are scraping the bottom of the barrel with him as a commentator.

I don't even think its them having more energy. We have started too slowly in almost all of our PL games (bar Southampton). Relative to us, most teams look like they have more energy from 0-15 minutes it seems.

Now, I have watched the replay. What a stupid goal to concede. Cannot imagine such way to concede. How can a club with ambition concede a goal like that. If it is a top 6 club, the game will be over in the first 15 mins.

If we were talking about Klopp or Guardiola instead of Ole we might suggest that the run was coached and our midfielders were told to look for an early pass because of a deficiency in Sheffield's defensive structure. Both of our goals seemed to be looking for a similar run through.

I think the only reason for doing it is to drag the opponents further up the pitch to exploit the counter. But it's far more trouble than it's worth. And we would have needed to buy the right players for it too, and moved those on who can't handle it well.

Let’s get a third goal early 2nd half please. Longer this goes on the longer we’ll start to relax and they’re bound to sneak an equaliser.

All Maguire has to do is take up a position that's wider and he gives himself more options than passing it back to the keeper while they're pressing us high.

80 million and no positional awareness. Those Greek cops fecked him up good.

Who said it's a bit deal?
    Just don't get the creaming.
Excatly like you said it. Percentage.

Usually closer to zero, this time it payed off

I would like to see Greenwood in the game more. There was one time in the first half when he was in bags of space right in front of goal but Martial, I think it was, just didnt pass to him.

3 fast forwards and Pogba deep in midfield. Ole set the team to exploit the high line. 20 minutes is just a mandatory shit opening from us. Ole wants King of Comebacks trophy badly.
Which makes it even more baffling that they didn’t exploit it until like the 19th minute.
