We need a strong start. I still think we need to think outside the box. That means trying to win the game by the time the final whistle is blown. Use the subs to win the match. Bring on tactical changes. Be proactive not reactive.

We have to patient and wait for our goal as it's useless going out like demons and risk conceding at the beginning.

SH have only scored 5 goals in 12 matches so we can contain them and wait to score .

This is the way to play this game.

On paper we should romp this and help the gd. I can see sheff score though, probably go in the lead. 1-4 Utd to go 5th

I reckon we'll create feck all and generally look quite flat in the first half and go into the second half drawing 0-0 and then put 2 or 3 past them in the second half.

Important game with so many others dropping points, a win here will set us up nicely for the Xmas madness. It would be nice to go ahead for once!

    Henderson
    AWB - Lindelöf - Maguire - Telles
    McTominay
    Bruno - Pogba
    Greenwood - Martial - Rashford

Depending on how the game progresses, but I would like to see VDB, Cavani, Shaw (and Tuanzebe) get 20 - 30 minutes as well.

Hope Telles start against Sheff Utd and Leeds. Both teams are very suspect to headers and/or from indirect set pieces.

Anyone think AWB might get a rest for Williams? If we’re going strong in the middle, then it might be a good opportunity to rotate a couple of less key positions. I don’t see where we’d rotate over the next 3/4 games after, unless we throw the League Cup in the bin.

Not sure if McBurnie is fit but if he is Maguire will be busy in the air tonight, through Sheff Utd's shit form they've scrapped any attempt to really play decent football like they used to and decide to just punt it up to McB. He's top of both aerial duels won and aerial duels lost in the PL so far this season.

To be fair Shaw's corners in the derby were surprisingly good. They were in swingers, hopefully this trend continues. In Telles debut he was whipping in swingers in but since then we've been doing out swingers when the set pieces are so much more dangerous when in swinging.

I hope not Williams is crap.

I wanna see our strongest eleven tonight, no passengers.

Listen, pals. I may not have 27k posts or a very big cock, but I reckon we are going to win this game! By my calculations we have 19 more points than them and have played a game less. Therefore, we are significantly better than them and will win.
The two hallmarks we all look for in a poster predicting a scoreline. High volume poster and a long johnson.

I have watched 4 Sheffield United games this season, I cannot stress how bad a team they are this year. I really don't rate this United team but I think we hammer them, 4-0,4-1 or something liek that. They are truly dire this year.

You’ve got that right. Who’s the worst at scoring headers for you? They should fancy themselves tonight.

Just looking at their results this season, they have lost most by a single goal and only big loss was to Chelski.

Are they as bad as their position suggests?

I get it, but you’re going to ask for the same thing against, Leeds, Wolves, Leicester, Liverpool who we play in the next month.

It’s not like we’re going to miss him offensively anyway.

Still maintain that these are not a bad team, just one drastically short of confidence. If they were shite, they wouldn’t have finished 9th last year after consistently pushing top 4 and only lose 0-1 to City and 2-1 to Pool and Leicester despite seemingly forgetting how to play football. Early goal or this will be tough.

Hopefully a 0-3 win for us.

They have been bad, but so many of their games, particularly at home end in them missing out on a result by one goal. Luckily, they offer very little in attack. The most likely results is probably a 0-2 or 0-3 in our favour, if we can get 4+ goals it will be a very strong and clinical performance.

We need to finish chances better, might as well start here. Winning by a big margin here would be an impressive result in my opinion.

They just can't score goals. Wilder seems to have a weakness for below average strikers who run around a bit. Missed one or two key defenders from last season this year and combined with the empty stadiums, they've become somewhat neutered.

We stink at the moment. Individual errors and a reluctance to play football is just not a great mix. We’ve had a few decent performances though but nothing to show for it.

Literally everyone, even Maguire is pretty shit at actually attacking the ball in the box for a big bastard

I really wish to see a highly aggressive and attacking team today, we are playing a woeful side with absolutely no confidence. There is no excuse for not winning this or playing attacking football from the first minute. Obviously Sheffield United can have a great day and look better than usual, but it’s our job to ruin that potential scenario.

Would be a good game to make a statement of intent in. They're obviously shakey, we should be all over them from the get go.

A full-strength side with the emphasise on attack will get us the three points we desperately need.

    We go for it!

Ah fair do's. Know you haven't been creating much recently but would fancy him to win a few headers in our box if he gets the service.
If he is out though, it just means a quick replacement which could be handy if you play a high line.

I can’t recall the last time we capitalized on rivals dropping points.
I just hope we don't mess this up.

Need to win midfield battle tonight, cant afford any passengers. They will be right up for it
