We should always have been going into the summer planning to buy 2 strikers. The people involved in recruitment are incompetent if they were planning anything else. Kane or Osimhen as main striker. One of Toney, Ferguson, Jonathan David, etc for the backup/rotation player

Simple really. We dont yet have a first rate first 11 and our depth in every position is drawn from absolute mediocrity. Lose a few players and we are little more than a lower mid table prem side. Not surprising we are struggling here

We’ve had many of those in Europe. At the end of the day we don’t have the technical ability required to go far in Europe. You need to have great close control and passing ability and a lower mid-table Spanish side beats us in that department.

Barca, Real, Bayern, Spurs don't have two good strikers. You need one world class striker. Backup can be anyone
