1 drop of the shoulder and he's clear of the danger, he doesn't look over his shoulder nor have any awareness of time/space/players, you just don't call for that ball if you're not in a clear position to receive it.The fact that 3 players are literally right next to him when the pass arrives surely means it's a dangerous pass? He looks open, but he isn't. As clearly shown by the fact he got tackled and we conceded.
Yes, some players can sometimes play out of this situation. It doesn't mean it's a good pass to play
But to a ball playing CB that's an intelligent pass that breaks the press so it's on Maguire
