True! I think we can get past them though but it depends on how our defence is looking after yesterdays game.

Manchester United 8 - 1 Real Sociedad
Goal scorers:
MUFC: Hojlund 3, 4, 5, 17, 31, 43, 90, 90 + 5
RSO: Hojlund (OG) 90 + 7
They will fall over and act as if a sniper put one thru their knees at the slightest touch and the referee will be more than happy to give them every foul
Just read we can't play Obi in the Europa, he isn't registered. That could be tricky.
Oh yeah, I wouldn't expect the club to foresee that a 17-year-old might be arguably our most dangerous striker at this point in the season - but here we are.I will happily hammer the club for many things, however not for this as they wouldn't have expected to use him this season.

Pathetic isn't it. Haven't we learned yet from the previous 30+ games this seasonCan this season just end? I'm sick of football and everything to do with football. Can't wait for the season to end and I can just enjoy life.
I say that, but on Thursday I'll be full of belief and hope for a five minute period before kick-off![]()
Not really, but we need the CL money to sign players.Youre clearly more optimistic than me to expect things will change after the summer break
I think Heaven is, as is Dorgu and 1 more got chosen as the 3 new ones for the knockoutsObi not registered, is it safe to assume the same for Heaven?

Pretty sure it was Jack fletcher but not sure.No idea on who that other one is?
I can understand it in some ways given how shite we are but the frustrating thing is that it's Real Sociedad and possibly Lyon in the next round if we make it. Decent teams but it's not exactly Arsenal or City (and we've beaten both of them away this season). If we keep it at a draw away from home then I'm hoping OT will see us through the following week.I never understood doom scrolling until I just read this thread.
Early kick offs are great when you work from homeWhy does this game kick off at 5:45 ffs.
Dorgu and Heavenso who did we put in the gaps left by Rashford and Antony?
Yeah, I think they have a decent chance of pulling off a result. Agree that we should be thrashing a team like this, but that’s not where we are. Hopefully the collective psyche of the forum heals a bit soonish (or develops some scar tissue). Some people in here maybe need to find a hobby that makes them less miserable.I can understand it in some ways given how shite we are but the frustrating thing is that it's Real Sociedad and possibly Lyon in the next round if we make it. The question is whether in February we should have anticipated that he’d be more useful than an extra midfielder or an extra defender. Given that Wheatley is one of our registered forwards, and isn’t currently at the club, an extra forward does seem as though it might have been the better choice.
