Matic and Herrera have been very good. Pogba is in and out of it. Micky T and Lingarrd are poor though.Gulf in class is huge.

As stated, they are currently CL winners with a very similar team for past couple of seasons. We have 3 new signings playing and can tell still gelling.

And our back 3 are incompetent with the ball.It's pretty insane how much of a detriment our lack of width from an LB is when Darmian plays. It's exacerbated by Lingard playing wide left since he rarely stays wide as his preference is to come inside in search of linking up.

Except I've not said that have I. We're playing against the best team in the world in a fairly meaningless game. We're playing badly, I agree. But saying "we're overrated" or "we're shit" or "Lukaku is fecking brainless" based off this game is just dumb in my opinion. If we're playing this badly in the prem 3 games in I'll be pissed. But this really doesn't worry meNot having full backs that overlap is a killer.

So we went through the half without creating a single real chance (Lukaku's header the only half chance?). Not too surprising. We might have had a couple chances if not for stupidity from Pogba and Lukaku.Matic looks good, a proper composed centre mid. Real are clearly far better we can't get near them in most areas.Good half .Because we kept it down to one goal
His wage is too high.
We're playing an excellent team and haven't exactly been torn apart. With better decision making on the break we could easily have scored ourselves.
