Damn, I originally had that team but I'm pretty sure I changed it to VDB starting instead of Shaw. Really that was the only serious doubt - would we go for a diamond midfield or three at the back?

Matic-McTominay midfield is a bit worrying, I always feel both of them really need Fred next to them. I'm not sure how often they've actually played as a two together so I guess we'll see how they go.

No matter how this ends, I love Solsjær for leaving Pogba on the bench after the last days of "chaos" created by Raiola. We can not risk having a player without focus in such an important match

If so, then surely, as you said, he should be on the bench. A player with pace, who can dribble is always a good option to have on the bench.

Worried about the inclusion of Shaw. This is a huge match and he's a player who normally takes 4/5 games to get back to full fitness.

Was hoping we'd field van de Beek against that intense press. A bit worried with Matic there. A back three isn't ideal either, as it may nullify the threat we can pose from wide. This team looks set up not to lose, as oppose to really pose a threat.

I thought we'd go for a diamond with Rashford and Cavani up front but I was wrong.

There is a real wierd tone around that this an easy game, probably so they can bash ole after, but this is a tough game and we are way below strength. A result would be huge

Don't think he did. He played something similar against Bayern, as in no recognized striker.

Other than say VdB for Matic, more or less the same team as I would have gone with tactics included

Still a huge game and especially for a lot of the defensive unit out there. We can still bring on quality from the bench to change things if needed

Was on the bench against PSG away and one of the other games as well which makes the decision for him not to travel very odd to me
