If Ole even gets a win on the night today he should be announced as the new permanent manager tonight.

The fact we even give the team a slight chance with a depleted squad is testament to his performance so far.

It's a football game, anything can happen. I don't think him getting the permanent job should have anything to do with this game though which is an extremely difficult task that no manager should be expected to come out of victorious. United finishing top 4 given where they came from before he took over is all I'd need personally short of their form falling apart in the league as the season winds down. He's done so well to not just change the style and mood of the team but raise the enthusiasm of the fans. He just has to maintain what he's done and for me he should be the next permanent manager.

McTominay, Periera and Fred against Veratti, Marquinhos and Draxler. This could be wild and will certainly be interesting.

Knew he was going with 3 at the back! It's the right choice, but I would have left Dalot in there.

That was the team I was expecting. I believe they can do it and one of the youngsters will come on and have a Macheda type moment to get us through - Believe !

Bailly at RCB would still allow us to flex to back four at times. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him come on for a CB though if we want to push.

Hmmm no Dalot is a surprise.

    Anyway, c’mon boys!

I got it right bar Young, I can't fecking believe he's starting over Dalot, especially not in a wingback system.

Bailly starts - this means we concede a goal

We also might be considering Dalot for a start against Arsenal (his crossing will be useful if we're missing Martial and Lingard for the counters).

Aside from Rojo, that bench is class. Great to see academy players getting to experience big champions league game

3-4-1-2. Pereira in behind Lukaku and Rashford.

Keep it tight at the back and who knows, if we nick a goal, then anything can happen. I'm quietly confident but maybe its a bridge too far.

Be interesting to see whether we play with a forward or backward arrow as the three man midfield.

an expected team. I wouldve liked Dalot somewhere but it's ok. let's see how we compare with 3CB instead of 2 this time

5-3-2 on Defence and 3-5-2 when attacking the wingbacks are going to have to play a very good game because they are the key for this to work.

Very very interesting and smart tactical decision. If Ole pulls this off he deserved the job immediately because of that tactical masterclass.

If we win or draw on the night, Ole should get the job in the morning. If we go through with that line up he should be given ownership of the fecking club.
