    Disgraceful performance.
    So fecking slow build up.
Doesn't Eth know that you break down teams like these on the wings?

Are we still not fit? Ridiculous lack of energy in the last 10 minutes of that half.

That said, Malacia's lack of game awareness for the goal is genuinely next level. He clearly has no idea he's the last man, despite being the last man by about 20 yards. I have no idea whatsoever what he's doing there. Neither does he, in all likelihood.

I could care less about their goal though, what is killing me is that lack of focus after it. Eriksen, Fernandes, Casemiro, Ronaldo - these are big, senior players who apparently can't create tempo or maintain any momentum. Really worrying.

I’ve missed the first half, is it as bad as the scoreline suggests?
Nah ... We were camped in their half for a lot of it, we fashioned a few good chances, which we wasted, complacency began to set in, we got sucker punched, then we began to panic, lost our shape, and started forcing things

Remember the last one against Sheriff where it felt like we should have won by 3 or 4 goals. This is a continuation of all the problems that manifested in the final third.

I'm not even sure why they are sucking so much in the final phase. They aren't even playing that bad. We do seem limited in central areas.

I mean we're shit and all, but that's ridiculous

No, fully deserved. We have players with big salaries, have a huge transfer budget and player for player should be far, far better than them. But after the goal, they pushed us back on the pitch for small periods, and we didn't come up with a single big chance after the goal. They are a worse team, but they deserve the lead. They have seized the chance and give more of themselves than the United players do.

If we lose tonight we deserve it. I never thought we'd concede a more embarrassing goal than the one Ba scored against us in Turkey. And there it is. Malacia seemed to malfunction when the ball came to him. If he didn't want to deal he should have just launched it instead of dawdling. We've been toothless in attack. This is pure dog mess.

I hate to say it but Ashley Young the winger, even in his most dire spells under Moyes, was far more useful and a better player than Sancho..

    Burn old Trafford

    Delete the club.
It is hard to believe isn`t it? I mean we know we`re not very good but with the players out there tonight having so much of the ball in their half to go in at half time one nil down is grim as feck. I have no words for it anymore, I can`t even feel angry.

A bit confused by the Casemiro hate in here. He hasn't been great off the ball but he has been one of the better players on the ball and not the one at fault for the scoreline right now.

That's the thing, we can't even say we are playing our youth team. It's astonishing really.
Awful mate. Suppose this is what’s gonna happen when we play so high up. Opposition teams are gonna score of like the only chance they have in the game of a counter.

We need more pace in behind, Rashford or Martial for Sancho if we are keeping Ronaldo on the field.

We seem so one paced, surely we will get this back, it would be very embarrassing if we lose or even draw this match.

He is just a body out there. Kinda reminds me of myself at work, I'm there physically but I count every minute until I clock out

There was one early on when someone slipped a ball down the left channel, he had a couple of yards head start and the full back ran past him over a 10 yard space. What is this guy going to be like after a couple of injuries if he is this sluggish at 21?

His conditioning is disgraceful, Anderson like.

It Erik has the balls he will take off Sancho and Ronaldo for Martial and Rashford at half time and we will win this comfortably.

I’ve missed the first half, is it as bad as the scoreline suggests?

We were playing well before they scored, albeit wasteful.

Very poor error causing a goal with their first shot and we have been really sloppy since then.

Sancho and Bruno offering nothing. Yet again. Against fecking Omonia. And these bunch of pretenders are paid hundreds of thousands of pounds every week to put in these kind of half arsed performances. I'm fecking fuming.

I had hope for Sancho since last season was his first in a new league and he was adapting and all but he is really really looking like a flop. Cut our losses as soon as possible.

I’ve missed the first half, is it as bad as the scoreline suggests?
We should have been winning this game comfortably. We squandered chances and they sucker punched us via a mistake from us.

I'll be negligence on our part to fail to win this game. We're clearly far superior to them but the dynasty of the game has become a bit unpredictable now because we're now rushing and it's never surprising to see a weaker team be emboldened after managing a good half of football against a superior team.

    ETH tactics are crap?

No. Bruno, Sancho, Ronaldo and DDG just dont have the ability to play his tactics. But ETH won't ever be allowed to fully build a squad to his liking with these owners so have to sit through the dross until he gets sacked and then people fool themselves into thinking the next guy is the guy when in reality it's a curse that SAF inflicted on us because of a horse and it won't be broken until the glazers are gone.

That goal was all on sancho for me. 80m for a winger who was in a good position to cross and he plays back to Malacia.

Started well enough though the final ball has been lacking, the goal has shook them though so hopefully ETH pulls them out of the panic at half time

I know malacia ultimately fcked it but why did Sancho play that pass, the balls in their final third and again were playing backwards - I thought we'd stopped doing that this season constantly conceding the initiative

    Sancho - a "winger" that....

Is slower than my arthritic grandad
    doesn't score,
    doesn't assist,
    can't beat his man,
    Likes a pass backwards.

Gotta say, and not to wind anyone up or anything, but it is a bit strange how United doesn’t seem to have improved in so many ways.

Yes we can discuss individual mistakes and poor form, happens to everybody. But I thought EtH was seen as this incredible tactical genius (he might be). But I don’t see his way of playing in the team.

To compare to Guardiola’s first season, even though they weren’t anywhere close to what they are now you could see it immediately. The patterns of play, positioning from the players and how comfortable they were on the ball. And they weren’t an immediate success, I recall quite a lot takes on how Guardiola had been found out. Before it started to really click.

With United I don’t see that rate of improvement. So very curious what EtH will do. Even the winstreak pre-City. Wasn’t exactly the positional play EtH was known for.

This is Oleball except there's a bald man in charge.

This lot are just the same as the bunch before . I hope ETH drags the shit off at half time Sancho fecking awful off Malacia wtf off . Its a fecking embarrassment of how they approach games like this .

Sancho not taking on his man is criminal. What's the point being a winger if you're going to pass it back in that position?
Can only play on the counter. Useless as a winger. Even then, he’s not very good at anything really. Kagawa had more good games than this, as did Mkhi.

No edge, no creativity, no intensity, no grit. Just sloppy wasteful plays. And then there's the goal. The football colossus Omonia. Absolutely tragic. How is it even possible to be this shit? No words.

First half hour was excellent imo but since the goal we've been shaky. This happens too easily and too often.

Sancho deserves flack for passing back to Malacia who admittedly didn't handle the ball well.

“Oh my god this crappy little team who can’t believe they’re even playing Utd scored a goal and the fans are in raptures” Part 62

Sancho is really starting to piss me off. Just doesn't do anything almost every game he is anonymous. Not only that he doesn't even try to do anything, I can't remember the last time I actually saw him dribble at a fullback.

Horrible stuff. All the possession, wasted chances, terrible mistakes to give away the goal and now they look like an actual team instead of a parked bus. We always find ourselves in these scenarios over and over again and I question how our players are so dumb.

Sancho has been anonymous, Malacia (even before the goal) has done nothing with the ball, Casemiro has been downright bad in defensive work, Bruno and Ronaldo have been wasteful. Martinez and Antony are the only ones with some credit in that half. They have shown the precision needed to beat these low blocks. We'll need the entire Ajax team at this rate to get any sort of proper passing going.

EtH should change things at half time. We cannot be beaten here.
