One of those freebies where we can actually get 4 or 5 goals to set us up nicely for a top-four finish and do something about our lowest GD after 15 matches in living memory!

I have literally no memory of Norwich beating us 2-1 at home
Last time we played them didn't we have 2 penalties and Krul saved them both  that guy is always in beast mode against us.

I know Dean Smith seems to have got them a bit more competitive, but they shouldn't really be troubling us.

Ah yeah I do remember that. Isn’t that the game Martial scored that chip?

    DDG
    Dalot Lindelöf Maguire Telles
    Donny Fred
    Sancho Bruno
    Mason Ronaldo

Shaw, AWB, McT and Rashford don’t deserve to play imo. Bailly should feel unlucky but there is no way he drops Maguire, who in fairness did very well against Palace, and Lindelof has been our best CB bar Varane this season. McT’s attitude is beginning to irritate me more than his performances - if he thinks he only played one square pass against Palace, it’s time he gets a pair of glasses and humbles himself. You’re not Paul Scholes.

Get Donny in. He made a mistake for the goal but did fairly well otherwise, and crucially always looks to play progressive passes, which we’ll obviously need tomorrow.

0-3 United. Ronaldo to fill his boots.

Honestly can't remember but yeah I remember Rashford and Martial both scoring some lovely goals. Think it was 2-0 in the end with 2 missed penalties.

Greenwood vs Rashford, Telles vs Shaw are the only doubt I guess in the starting line up, Ronaldo, Bruno, Sancho, McFred, Maguire, Lindelof, Dalot and DDG pick themselves.

    Surely we will win this?

Hoping we really go for them and be ruthless. A comfortable win for once would be lovely!

Going to say 3-0. Ronaldo, Fernandes, Rashford

Norwich with some covid issues in their squad apparently. Wouldn't be surprised if the xmas football calendar ends up completely disrupted.

God damn it. Would be the worst timing and I hope they at least schedule it for a less busy period. Our fixture list is already clogged and at least this week we had an opportunity to rest players.

I read they are waiting on tests for 3 or 4 players.
Surely that's not enough to get the game postponed?

Well they better make it clear before the entire team travels to Norwich.

I really don't think so. Norwich have tightened up at the back and have one of the lowest xGA in the league under Dean Smith. I'll take 0-1.

    Yup.

Farke for them was even worse than Ole in terms of leaving the side exposed. They just played a brand of football that was never going to translate to the PL with the quality of their squad. It was obvious from their first PL game in 2019 vs Liverpool that they would ship ridiculous amounts of goals.

Tomorrow's game is an opportunity for some players to stake a serious claim for a starting spot.

Telles can keep his place if he performs strongly tomorrow.

Dalot also has a chance to keep his spot if he impresses, given AWB is hurt a bit now and didn't do that well vs YB.

Lindelof can also keep his spot and be in real competition with Maguire and Varane.

Greenwood performed strongly vs YB, so Rashford needs to buck up his ideas or else Greenwood takes his spot alongside CR7.

Same staring 11 that starter will start tomorrow I think: -

    De Gea

    Dalot Lindelof Maguire Telles

    McFred

    Sancho. Bruno

    Ronaldo Rashford

Really hope they don't postpone it I'm up in Manchester with my mates this weekend and this would be great to watch in the pub together.

1-4 utd, 2 for Ronnie, Fred and Mason to round it out, a brain fart by either ddg or slabhead for their goal.

Fancy another narrow victory. The thing I was happy to see against Palace was that, although they were no mugs and we took a while to break them down, we didn't make them look like 1970 Brazil. If we can again look like a functioning football team here we should have 3 points. Would take another 1-0.

Looks like Ole is picking the team from the line up prediction box.
Ole didn't really start Sancho but otherwise it's too early for him to know if he prefers certain players. What will be an interesting question is what the starting XI will be in the last few games of the season versus now.

    The show must go on.

Ralf has a lot of options to consider, but I hope he sticks with the same crew that dispatched Palace -- which would mean Shaw sits. (I assume AWB won't be fit to start.) That's ok as there's a lot of football to be played over the next 6 weeks.

Don't know where else to put this but did you know...

Man Utd’s record in their last four matches against newly promoted clubs is W0 D3 L1

Let's hope that improves under the new manager. We are playing 2 promoted teams in a row, Norwich (tomorrow) then Brentford on Tuesday.

A few Norwich players are ill and they’re having COVID tests.

Not sure it would be enough to postpone the game though.
Hopefully it isn't, first game of the season I'm expecting to win comfortably and not broadcasted at 5 am for a change
