Well that's an interesting line up Ffs.Is Rashford injured too?

Pace merchant Rooney up front instead of Martial, that is about a 60% drop in quality from the off.

    Not good news

Anthony Martial came out for the warm up but has now walked off back down the tunnel.

Ander Herrera also now warming up with the starting XI rather than the subs.

Does that mean Rooney up front, or Lingard moving and Mata going wide?
Maybe Memphis up front? Would like to see him there.

Hopefully we can still win this, but not starting Blind, Schneiderlin, and Herrera are mistakes IMO, along with starting both Rojo and Darmian, and not having Rashford in the squad.

Seems like it is a Martial injury too, which just serves LVG right for being an idiot. If we win, great, no complaints. But he's just making it harder for himself.. it's as if he wants to make an odd call for the sake of it so he can seem like a genius if it pays off.

If martial is injured then all I can see is a 0-0... no martial or rashford, nobody to score or create.

Brilliant decision to not have a striker on the bench. Rooney up front. :wenger:

Hmmm, Martial is warming up on Norwegian TV, it is realtime I think. But he actually didn't look comfortable.

    TEAM NEWS UPDATE
Ander Herrera appears to have replaced Anthony Martial in the warm-up here at Carrow Road, though it's currently unclear why the change has been made.

There's a mention now. They are hopeless.

Im more worried about the FA cup final, without Martial its game over :(

We should be good enough to win this no matter what the lineup is. No excuses.

He said this game will be difficult, so rests players against a team fighting for their lives. It's actually insulting.

Martial probably out seems to be favoring one knee. Talking to a team doctor. Ander could be in.

If we pay Norwich no respect ,then we could beat them. But we tend to be cautious under LVG regardless of opposition.

Well that changes things. With Martial out, I don't know who can score a goal for us.

Where has Young been? Wouldn't mind seeing him on the wing, prior to his injury he was creating chances for others.

Wow that is such an average starting line up, Rooney, Mata, Rojo, Carrick, Lingard and Memphis all on the pitch.
    Is LVG having a laugh?

Yeah, I knew he'd rest players but my thoughts were more along the lines of:

    - Memphis, Schneiderlin, Herrera, Mata and Fosu-Mensah/Borthwick-Jackson/Darmian play.
    - Carrick, Rashford, Lingard, Rojo drop to the bench, Fellaini suspended.

Seemed more logical. A stronger starting line-up, and bench, but also rotates 4-5 players who have played a lot.

Let's just hope Martial is fit for the FA Cup.

Need Memphis to have a good day and Rooney to finish off whatever chances he gets.
