    Not sure about this lineup at all.

    Hopefully Mata can link up well with Fernandes but I can see James getting hooked at halftime if he keeps going the way he has been.

    Strange Greenwood didn't make the bench. Is he injured?

    Looks like he's keeping some players back for Tuesday tbh.

    Makes the decision to buy Van de Beek and not go all out for Sancho even more ridiculous. We have absolutely feck all on the wings. Zero quality.

    100% sure the tactics will be exactly the same. Its just the lineup thats different. So less talented players trying to carry them out

    Given how bad the so called 1st choice was, maybe this lot can actually go out and play for the shirt.

    Why sign Sancho when you can play Daniel James and send all the money you saved to Tampa via dividends.

    A bit strange this isn’t it. I’d have him in over James or Mata.

    Seems Ole sees him only as rotation for Bruno.
     
    If VDB is playing it has to be for Fred or McT. He is not playing a wide winger, be it on the left or right
     
    We've lost the midfield battle against everyone we've come up against this season in the PL. Hopefully, the introduction of Fred and McTominay, who were both fantastic for large parts of the year last season will bring that much-needed urgency and dynamism to our midfield.

    As for people calling for VDB to start, it's clear Ole sees him as a 10. Maybe as a roaming winger. He's not better than Bruno and Mata has stolen the headlines every time both of them have lined up together in the Carabao, therefore the inclusion of Mata over VDB makes sense.
     
    As soon as two of our starting attackers are out we, the drop in quality is staggering. Pressure on Rashford and Bruno to get us goals because nobody else in that lineup is going to do it. This just highlights our stupidity in not bringing in Cavani sooner. Although, I think it's rather stupid not to play Ighalo today. Games like today is the reason we brought him in.

    Those that charge 15 quid for people to watch this team tonight should be charged with fraud as that isn´t even a remotely fair pricing. It´s really sad that for a club of this size that is the line up for a league match. This club deserves to fail for being completely inept at running the football side of the club.

    Based on the line-up he's switched from a 4-3-3 to a 4-2-3-1. 2 defensive midfielders in central midfield versus the 1 that we've started with so far.

    For sure, I'd rather us have gone all out for Sancho but it is what it is. Complaints of playing James and Mata but there's literally no alternative unless you want to see Lingard back.

    No, that's a myth that got debunked long time ago. Look in the matchday threads when the Cafe was unhappy about the line-up. We lost most of these matches.
     
    The line up is so shit that there is unfair criticism that is bound to be directed at the players.

    The manager has no clue, no tactics, and no plan. We love you Ole but time is up
