You can't try to shield the ball and collapse to the ground when somebody breathes on you. Capoue does that all the time and I hate it.

Herrera's playing the way an out of form Wilshere does.
You're quite right, you also can't shove someone in the back when they are shielding the ball either.

4-2-3-1 with Rooney up top on his own and we are not winning? I don't understand.

Dare I say but we should bring Falcao on. I know he's not playing well but we need a goal and it's getting desperate.

You mean other forums are different or something? Redcafe is great and every forum would have a go at a £60M player not playing well since september.

It's only on here I've seen people call him "the worst signing ever" and saying how they'd sell him for a decent amount.

The performance in this second half has been shite compared to the first. Everyone winning around us, nightmare not getting 3 points from this tbh.

If we don't win here we can as well forget about the top 4.
Yeah. It's been coming but this definitely feels like the night we can forget about top 4. In truth we blew it a little while ago by dropping stupid points. No way are Liverpool going to lose momentum now, Arsenal always get top 4, Tottenham are doing okay at the moment, Southampton nicked a win yesterday. Louis just hasn't got this team in to a decent state. There's no way we should be looking so clueless at this stage of the season, no excuses.
Even if we win this I'm not confident at all.

We offer no threat at all, the build up is so slow.

What? He didn't do anything wrong, but didn't really do anything worth noting either.
Oooh sorry forgot about the rule.
fecking Evans, can't believe he let the Newcastle player get his shoot away. There you go.

Yep, the players on the pitch have offered so much more. We deserve to finish outside the top 4. Unforgivable football being served up recently, and not in a good way.

Not saying they've been better, no, but people shouting 'bring on falcao' and 'poor falcao on bench' must have very, very short memory.

Our fans singing for Falcao, and now, attack attack attack

Decent header from Rooney, well done from Young too.

    75 min

Not much has been happening the last few minutes but Young digs out a cross down the left and Rooney heads down but Krul saves.

If we win this one there's still plenty of hope for me, we could grind out our way into top 4. With Liverpool just behind us and looking much sharper they're favourites.

Valencia is a bit stupid passing it there when Januzaj is ten yards offside. And I remember reading on here that he was an intelligent footballer!

Short being last saturday when his last contribution won us the game, and he got subsequently subbed?

    What?

I'm not criticising him at all. He did nothing wrong during their attack certainly, but he didn't do anything great either, apart from ensuring the player didn't run past him, which is pretty basic for defending. Just didn't get where the praise was coming from.

I can't see how someone could be happy with these performances, I thought LvG would be a bit more pragmatic.

So guys, are any of you suspecting that this is going to be another away draw?
