Mourinho fecked off. What a shambles.

Jose thought to himself, "F*** this shit, I'm out of here".
Anyway, job done, 3-1 win and I am pleasantly surprised that we managed to score 3 goals.
Our aim was to hit them on the counter attack and it did seem to work.

And now we have 7 defenders on the pitch, protected by two defensive midfielders. 7-2-1 is a fantastic lineup.

Disappointing from Rashford. Offered no outlet when we were under pressure. Fluffed his lines all match long. Needs to improve quickly or will find himself out of the team. Especialy with the rumours of Griezmann.

Thank God for that! 3 points is all I care about. Don't care how we got the win

This will be one of those games that you look back on with complete confusion, ala against Blackburn with Rafael and Park in central midfield.

    You were saying?

Dire, dire sub and we will now probably draw this game.
Oh snowflake.. You think that goal came because Mourinho made a defensive sub? One glance at his trophy cabinet and you will realize he probably saw all that pressure incoming with tired defenders and midfielders and actually limited the damage to just one goal by bringing on an extra defender. We would be sat here discussing a draw now had Mata stayed on the pitch oor had been subbed for a player who isn't tall enough to connect with headers. That's the good thing about being a world class manager. You see things that the average posters on redcafe will not.

Is it good or bad that now Jose celebratated because he scored by parking the bus for 20 mins:lol:

Jose wasn't trying to attack anymore at 2-0 hence why taking of Mata. Teams are always gonna bring more players forward in the final third of the game when losing. You have to react to that to negate their threat.
Even if you don't plan to attack anymore, you don't want every single clearance to come straight back, certainly not with 20+ minutes to go. You need bodies in front of the defence to accomplish that. And seriously, do we really need 4 nominally central defenders on the pitch to negate the attacking threat of Middlesbrough?

Lol at that chap in the tunnel entrance staring at Mourinho celebrating

Mourinho complains about the schedule => he is a moaner, should rotate more

Mourinho starts an emergency side => look how shite we are

Mourinho takes off a valuable player to rest him when 2-0 up => look how negative we are

    The guy can't win.

Boro hadn't scored for 8 hours, you would fancy us to hold on for 30mins with a 2-0 lead, wouldn't you?

It's more about the instructions given to the players about how to play - Valencia and Young could easily have been wingers in a 4-4-2 there, with Bailly and Rojo as fullbacks, but it looks like the whole team had been told to stay deep, soak pressure and play as a back 6.

Against a team who indeed had not scored in eight hours, you'd think we would be free to attack them without much fear and still keep a solid back four considering we really had four centre backs playing.

Well he obviously doesn't have these mistakes in every game otherwise we would conceede far more goals when he is playing, so you are obviously wrong.
Again, was just a question. But you can't honestly say that he's been "flawless" in every game? He's made mistakes but it's not been mistakes that has resulted in conceded goals.

Anyway, who cares now. Was a tough win, hopefully Pogba will be ready for the next match.
