They will run 110 km or thereabouts. This alone means that it might turn out to be a difficult game.

    Apparently his making big changes. I expect to see;

    DDG
    Valencia Smalling Jones Darmian
    Matic McTomminay
    Mata Fellaini Young
    Lukaku

Could do with Gary Glitter up front for this one :nervous:

Naughty naughty. You have a good memory.
I wonder if Young Boys have a women's team.

Word of warning. Please don't try to find out by an internet0 search. You may well find yourself having a visit by PC Plod.

 this line up makes me want to weep - makes you realise we could shed 8 or 9 players easily

    De Gea
    Dalot Bailly Rojo Darmian
    Fred Pereira Pogba
    Mata Rashford Martial

    De Gea

    Dalot

    Rojo
    Shaw

    Herrera
    A.Pereira
    Pogba

    Mata
    Rashford
    Martial

I’d go with that but with Sanchez instead of Mata. Mata is should play at 10 or not at all, he’s abysmal on the right and has been since Juanfield.

Since we're all saying whether we watch this match or not is a thing now, then yes, I think I'll watch this. Possibly having a beer or two as well. Taking a dog for a quick walk in the half-time and a sandwich at around 60th minute. Hoping to get by with less than 4 cigarettes per half.

Hope to see Fred and Dalot.

Yes, I would not disagree with that team, possibly Fred in for Mata, and play Pogba as a 10, but would be more creative with Mata as a 10, and Pogba left side. These Young Boys are not a bad team, will give us a good examination if our players are not totally up for it.

    DDG
    Dalot Bailly Lindelof Shaw
    Periera Fred Pogba
    Mata
    Sanchez Martial

    DDG
    Dalot Smalling Jones Shaw
    Fred Fellaini Pogba
    Rashford Sanchez Martial

Jones? He's the worst defender at the club and I wouldn't give him any more games. Until he's gone

Well you have Lindelof in your lineup and I'm pretty sure he's injured after what happened in the Palace game.

How young are these boys? If they're 13 or younger I reckon we've got a chance.

Love the optimism of all these lineups without Matic. Its the hope that kills you. The teams needs Matic to defend against the threat Young Boys bring with them and we need to be very cautious in order to avoid defeat.

At least that's how our gaffer thinks.

Young Boys is a top team

    If Lindelof is out injured.

    De Gea
    Dalot---Bailly---Smalling---Shaw
    Pereira
    Fred---Pogba
    Rashford---Sanchez---Martial

Subs: Lukaku, Lingard, Herrera, Fellaini, Young, Darmian, Romero.
People are talking about banners so
maybe they could print this team off and put it at the entrance to OT for Jose to see ?

If Lindelof doesn't make it then Smalling. We don't need Jones anymore

Wish this was an away match. We are shit at OT this season. Expect a borefest with the result being a draw. I don't even care anymore.

If I see Matic or Lukaku run out on that pitch, I don't know what I will do with myself!

Just got a phone call from the ticket office asking me if I wanted to purchase a ticket for this game. Had to politely decline the offer but must be real desperate if the ticket office are phoning fans up asking if they are interested in buying tickets for tomorrow.

Not had a look online but sales must be very poor for this one.

    Good. We are a shitshow.

It's at 1:30am in the morning. I'm not staying awake to see this crapfest football, thanks.

Think it will be a 0-0 draw or we'll scrape a goal and then have 10 men behind the ball, happy to hoof.

I would be very disappointed again, if Periera doesn't start this one. He's one of the few players who looks like he wants to be out there.

Disappointing result last time out and even more disappointing to lose Lindelof. It's looking like José has Jones ahead of Bailly right now, so, unfortunately, we're likely to see Smalling & Jones pair up here. Thankfully, Young Boys really shouldn't pose enough of a threat despite us being below average at Old Trafford this season.

If we can win this game and Valencia fail to beat Juventus, we are through. I think it's pretty likely that this will be the outcome and we can go to Spain with a second string and not care about losing. However, if Valencia can somehow sneak a draw in Italy then we could win the group with an away win against Valencia. Bit of wishful thinking there, but if results go our way then it might be worth going for it.

I think and hope José will use this game as a way to bring some of our attacking players into form, if they can't do it against Young Boys at Old Trafford then even more serious questions need to be asked:

    de Gea
    Valencia Smalling Jones Shaw
    Matic Pogba
    Sanchez Lingard Rashford
    Lukaku
    ---
Romero; Young, Bailly; Fred, Fellaini, Mata; Martial

Hopefully, we can just click, all the forwards score and we go and beat Southampton at the weekend. If we can't even manage that then I am resigned to sixth place with Arsenal coming up soon. Failure to beat them as well then it really is a calamity.

Not going tomorrow, first game I'll have missed in 6 years intentionally. Just cannot be arsed when you know what to expect.
