I'm only 32 so I'm not old but I hate the well dressed white trainer look.

Maguire on the bench means we are playing hardball with West Ham, isn't it?

I’m honestly surprised the producers haven’t stopped this after whatever screen test they do. It’s really distracting in a dark studio like MNF.

It might have been posted before in this thread but its worth posting again. Good way to get yourself psyched up for tonight and the season

Jamie can’t talk about Liverpool without back door defending the owners

Not to try to jinx anything - but has there ever been a team in the P.L with so few goals scored by their players last season ?

    Sarabia 0 goals in 14
    Neto 0 goals in 18
    Cunha 2 goals in 17
    Lemina 0 goals in 19
    Gomes 1 goal in 11
    Nunes 1 goal in 34
    Kilman 0 goals in 37
    Semedo 0 goals in 36
    Dawson 1 goal in 25
    ait-Nouri 1 goal in 21

Their combined team scored 6 goals last season - I would be a bit concerned going into this season, if I were O'Neill....

Thought Martial will start but the lineup looks great, and midfield looks full of energy and attacking options. Let's see how we'll play.

Still warms my heart every time I see him. So glad he is still around, and still around the club.
He came across really well. Made a more interesting point than most modern pundits do when asked which team impressed him this weekend

I was thinking about 3-0, but with this Wolves squad… we need to win by 5 or 6 goals

I think we will obliterate Wolves here, we should be minimum putting 4 past them which I expect we will.

This feature is terrible on Sky Sports. I swear Andy Gray was doing this 25 years ago
Everyone at Sky including the pundits seems to have amnesia. Neville was saying something a while back about having a camera on each player etc. when they were doing that 20 years ago.

He's been trying too hard the first couple of games.

He's definitely been overcompensating last two seasons now that he's gotten popular. I used to love him when he was under the radar because his calls were just off the cuff and natural. Now it's clear that he has practiced them and they are forced. Prime Drury was when he was still with PL TV. Absolutely legendary calls in big big moments.

It’s weird seeing Ferguson do these pitchside chats. I bet he’s glad he retired after that came in because he’d have despised them.
