    Half-time
He's a fecking fraud this Rangnick. feck him off and get Ten Hag as soon as possible. Thank god he only got half a season on his contract. Our passing is even worse than under Ole.

Sadly, this is going just how I expected it to. Just waiting for Wolves to score now.

No control in MF as well. Daylight between Neves and Mctominah. Mctominah cannot retain the ball nor pass the ball. So take him off for Bruno or VDB.

Fed up with this team altogether.

Zero corners for us in that half lads. Shame really as could be a good chance for us to score…

In terms of movement and positioning, you can see the building blocks coming together.

But all that system work and drilling can't make up for the brain dead decisions we've been making... AWB, Sancho, Cavani all guilty. And the inability to make 5 yard passes. Shocking!

Absolutely not, hence him being dropped. Guy has been one of our worst players this season. Allergic to not giving the ball away. These are the harsh realities

I didn’t say he doesn’t give the ball away a lot or is not playing shite like 90% of the team but he creates and scores more goals than half the team combined since joining. Stat padding or not, no one has the ability to find the killer pass like him and that is a major reason why we are no threat to the top teams, the over reliance on one person, especially considering Pogba is always out injured or way off form. So for me we are absolutely better going forward with him playing…I guess we will agree to disagree.

It’s sad watching GOAT like this
Needs to go to a lesser league or MLS
Time and Age catches up with us all at one stage or the other

That was a pretty dead first half. Defence has been good. I’d swap Ronaldo for Rashford and see how we get on.

What is the point in a 4222 if we don't press like the first game with Ralph in charge? I though its main purpose was to allow for us to press a lot higher but we haven't done that since day 1.

Our manager is on an interim basis, you'd think priority would be to win as much as possible ASAP.
Yes he has a consultancy gig afterwards, but i believe if he is good at that, he'd have been able to make judgment of the players even on a different formation than 4222.

Does that bring into question the manager's flexibility - he can only properly assess the squad if it plays the only way he knows of?

Having watched that 45 minutes, I am now of the belief that a lot of our players are overrated and actually aren’t the top players we and the media hype on about. It can’t keep being the managers.
Absolutely but still think the system is an issue and changing it could make at least a slight improvement. His adherence to it does smack of a manager that might be somewhat out of his depth

Jones been our best player this half.

    Midfield is non-existent.
Matic and McTominay has never ever worked and yet this is the third manager out of the last four that still uses this pairing. Unforgivable.

Rashford and Bruno were both standing there toward the end of HT stretching and warming up. From a lack of control in midfield to a bunch of unsuccessful lofted over the top passes

You watch Kante and Kovacic vs Fabinho and Henderson yesterday and we see Matic and McTominay today.

It's enough to make you cry.

Sancho plays like a wide forward, luxury player. The extra back tracking this formation requires takes up too much of the energy he needs in attack. He just doesn't want to go with semedo.

They can't score though, and Utd surely won't be as bad in the second.

Jones making me feel all nostalgic.
So much money spent on Sancho is very disappointing. Wolves wingers look better than him by far

Just sick to the back teeth of this shite. Makes it more difficult over Christmas when you’re watching every other team play so much better.
That's why you shouldn't watch any non-United football. It makes our games slightly less depressing if you rarely see actual good football.

We already know gegenpressing was thrown out the window, but we’re now back to Oleball…but without the individual brilliance. We’ll still dig out the win, but it’s fair to say this was not vintage stuff we saw in the first half.

The amount of shots and corners they have had is ridiculous. We create nothing. Their keepers hasn’t made a save, we haven’t even had a corner.

Jones best player on the pitch so far.

Well yes, but also we had Sancho first and then Cavani at the end. Pass instead of shooting and it should be one up. Great teams need less chances to score, notorious shy teams like Wolves need ten chances to score. Problem is, we aren’t a great team and mess up our chances.

Ragnick has been all talk so far. We've just been a bit more structured that we were under Ole and that's it but we are still shite.

    Mouth Ragnick.
