Although playing in different positions, Traore is a physically beefier and perhaps slightly more technically astute version of Daniel James. Both are fast but largely ineffective in terms of creating chances.

I’d expect a slim 1-0 type win for us. Hopefully AWB is fit to play.

Gearing may self up for disappointment tomorrow, so many results gone in our favour, surely we won’t capitalise :nervous:

With Leicester, Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool and Villa all dropping points over the last two nights we really must drive home our games advantage by winning both matches this week. Anything less than 6 points will be a total disappointment!

Yeah I would totally agree with that, honestly think a win tomorrow and the scousers may just feel a little pressure when they kick off against Newcastle on Weds night

The scousers may drop point to either Newcastle or Southampton, so getting 6 points from Wolves and Villa would set us up perfectly at Anfield.

I think Southampton is more likely but how I would love the geordies to turn up against them like they did with us last season at St James's Park

No question they are decent favourites to win the title, much as it grieves me to admit it, but it'd be good to put that pressure on them.

Well being on Amazon Prime proved lucky for us against Sheff Utd so lets hope for the same thing to happen against Wolves tomorrow night, has been a right curse for Chelsea & Leicester though.

Can't deny I was also chuffed to bits that an ex Utd keeper put dents in the home records of both the scousers and City because never expected that to happen at all.

We need a win tomorrow night, as doing so will get us within two points of Liverpool, with them to play at Anfield in a couple of weeks. What an occasion that will be, I can't remember the last time we played one another when 1st and 2nd in the table.

Just get the three points by any means necessary. If that means an injury-time winner courtesy of the most dubious refereeing decision in the history of professional football as we know it, after being under the cosh for 97 minutes, so be it. Bring it on.

    Come on United!

Knowing United we will drop points because of a howler by someone.
    Don't we play Villa next?

Wilø be very similar to our Everton line up , maybe Martial instead of Greenwood

Just had a look and Wolves have lost 3, drawn 1 and won 1 in there last 5

Lost to Liverpool, Burnley and Villa, drew with Spurs and beat Arsenal.

    We will win this comfortably

    This.

We just need to hope that Ole gets tactics and selection correct and the players are switched on to not make silly mistakes

Never confident when we come up against Wolves. Will be a true test of how far we can go this season. Nothing less than a win will do.

I have a strange feeling that Ethan Laird is going to be in the starting eleven tomorrow.

Looks like Rashford’s out after that cnut Barnes pulled his shoulder.

    De Gea
    Wan-Bissaka Tuanzebe Maguire Telles
    Matic
    Van de Beek Pogba
    Fernandes
    Greenwood Cavani

We’ll win this, and then we`ll beat Villa before we smash Liverpool off the field at Anfield, which will represent the downfall of Klopp and Liverpool. Top of the league and Ole will be the best thing since sliced bread yet again. Keep the faith caftards. We are United. They are shitting their shorts.

    Newcastle are useless.

I’m convinced people don’t watch Wolves because the way they are being rated in here is hilarious. Most posters are citing Adama as a major threat, yet he has no goals or assists in the PL in a year, while Wolves are scoring at a rate of one per game while conceding at a greater rate than previously. Given their lack of turnaround time since playing Tottenham, anything less than a United win here would be absolutely unacceptable.

I think that's way off. Wolves are a good team, we struggled with them last year and this will be a tough game. We're favorites, but a draw wouldn't be very surprising. And certainly no disgrace. I'm not impressed by Traore either, but I most certainly am by Neto, and to some extent by Podence. D very solid, as is central midfield. And they've showed some real strength clawing their way back into games where they've been down, against strong teams too. This is a quality side. Good thing they're missing Jimenez.

I agree though the extra day of rest should help.

They're quality defensively still but they lack bite without Jimenez. We definitely should be winning, but its also the team that we are horrible at playing against.

People are cautious because we never beat them. We’re 0-3-1 against them in the PL since their return & 1-1-1 in cup competitions. That’s 1 win in 7 against them. They are somewhat of a bogey team for us.

There are always random results at this time of year, with teams having to rotate and fatigue a factor for many teams. I hope we're not victims of that tomorrow. We shouldn't, as the squad is big now. Do we rest Bruno? Does Donny start? Cavani? I would go with, Henderson, Axel, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, Donny, Bruno, Martial, Cavani, Greenwood. I'm assuming that DDG, Lindelof, AWB and Rashford are doubtful and Axel is fit.
