I'll be fuming if we don't beat them today.

    Agree with Burrow....

Wish we had another couple of Fellainis....The only guy we have who doesn't hide away, doesn't go missing, and actually looks as though he gives a shit....

But....It must be a generation and more since we played at home against West Ham and we're the underdogs !!

Quietly not confident about this, as I don't see where the goals are going to come from....Rooney and Mata have got their haters on here, but together they've scored more than the rest of this starting eleven put together - go figure....

Not enough power up front - sorry but I do not think Martial and Rashford are the superstars some people make them out to be - not that there is much choice at the moment (oh for Javier Hernandez....), and Lingard doesn't impress me at all. My guess: three years from now, not one of them will still be at the club

Agree with you especially about Chico.

Fellaini and Carrick in the midfield against a fast and fluid West Ham team.

    LVG genius selection again.

I just don't get LVG...I mean what is Giggs saying. It doesn't work....Carrick is having the worse season he's had with us and Fellaini isn't right to partner him....it's been proved before

Surely that result today and the poor performance against Liverpool will see them up for it?

    right..... Right??

No, thats not what I meant.

Before big games, I was usually very nervous and expectant. Because the stakes were so high, but the rewards even higher. I havent felt like that for a long time as we havent really competed in the last 3 years.

I know how big the Fa cup is, believe me.

    Fair enough

Excactly, every time we have the chance to get closer we feck up against the likes of West Bromwich, Swansea or Stoke. Don't want to start about the leads we had but still were not able to win these games like against Chelsea. Those draws costed us to many points also.
Plus we managed two points from Newcastle, just three from Sunderland, lost to Swansea and so far no points from Norwich, Bournemouth. How Van G is stil in a job is beyond mel

I don't know what Giggs is doing or saying but I don't think it bodes well for him.

I'm probably wrong but I think lvg was happy with our second half performance vs Liverpool. Carrick will be in a back three with smalling and rojo

Good chance to win the cup on paper, but given our struggles with breaking down smaller teams I'm still skeptical of our chances.

Surely that result today and the poor perfermance against Liverpool will see them up for it?

    right..... Right??
or LVG will tell them they are doing fine and go the same again - I mean I have no idea what he actually says to them, but it ain't clever that's for sure

Hoping it's Carrick-Herrera in midfield with Fellaini playing just off Martial.

Carrick-Fellaini in midfield will be far too static. It'll be an open invitation for them to waltz through.

Might be our only chance to qualify for the Europa League. Scary.

Payet will tear Fellaini and Carrick midfield a new one!

Oh well, just going to watch it with no expectations,, if we lose which is a norm nowadays... Meh!

    A few more Fellainis?
I appreciate a spirit lifting comedy before a depressing match but you're a pushing it mate.

Positivity in thread = A loss
Negativity in thread = A win

Seems to be a lot of negativity in this thread since the teams have come out. I'm hoping this means us putting in a good performance and winning the game.

I like to think that I have a good knowledge of our youth and u21 teams.

But who the bloody hell is RoShaun Williams?

Give him a debut and we should win.

Like before the Arsenal game. No chance of winning, then perform well.

 What fecking hold does Fellaini have over LvG?

After our rivals slip up = a loss

So I wouldn't get too confident

West Ham are a better team than us. If they win, I won't be overly surprised.

    Cupset! Cupset! Cupset!

If we beat West Ham, there are only our level teams in the semi's. Our best chance to win the FA cup in a while.

    Come on United!

    Hope it's a 433:

    De Gea
    Varela Smalling Blind Rojo
    Carrick
    Herrera Fellaini
    Rashford Martial Lingard

    Most likely a 4-2-3-1
