I've never understood this point. If there are 10 penalties that should be given in a game because 10 fouls are committed inside the box, then 10 penalties should be given. The onus is then on the defending side not to give away needless penalties.
Football is absolutely a physical game, but there are laws governing the game to make sure that the game is played fairly. You can still be playing physical, aggressive football whilst sticking to the rules. The majority are just asking for consistency and for the laws to be applied consistently.
