I doubt we’ll see Amad tonight unfortunately, because as much as we all would love it, we’re not going to fly into a 3 goal lead, which after Saturday, would be the minimum gap before James and Amad can come on.

Yes in the right system he can be a quality player. Uniteds team is one more individual based rather than system based. Not a criticism on Ole, it's just the truth. They're both valid ways of going about our business. Van de Beek is a quality player but just not suited to our style at all, but if he was to find a role anywhere, it'd be as one of the 2 CM players next to a DM. As a 10 he will be irrelevant literally every game as he isn't suited to it at all.

So on paper a weaker starting team tonight with a stronger bench and I'm thinking the latter will be need in order to win tonight.

Will be a difficult with or without changes I think. But probably our 3 must on form players are rested tonight so we need some of the others brought in to make a mark. I'm looking at Martial and Van De Beek with this. Great to see Amad on the bench and I'd love to see him get some game time, meaningful game time.

Therefore the best use of our resources is to prioritise the league and come as close as we can-even if(as is likely) we don’t win it. At least we can cement ourselves as contenders for a top prize
