    That being a relative term.

I know the best he can offer in the central back role isn't the best for us however I was only saying that Ole should use him in his most preferred role only. If I had my way he wouldn't even be in the club at all.

Laird played in that CL Youth game recently. Very well too I thought.

Thought O'Connor played more at CB, and Williams more at LB?
An entire month ago is hardly recent. He has played 115 minutes is 4 months and not at all in a month.

O'Connor played CB in the u18/19s because he is way better than everyone and held the backline together by himself. He plays fullback for the u23s and is better than Williams and just as good as Laird and a lot more experienced and match fit than Laird.

Even that is more than Rojo.

I'd have Williams over O'Conner at LB personally.

No chance for me. Williams is great but O'Connor took the piss out of the u18s half the time it was so easy for him. The only thing Williams has over him is being a more direct attacker. O'Connor is an easily better defender though and far better composure. Williams' heart is good but it also leads him into getting into fights in half the games which is hardly what you want in a debutant. O'Connor is also more experienced and at a higher level. He is calmer, more composed, reads the game better, is a better defender, is just as fast and as good on the ball. There is little at this time to support Williams being better.

Jones and Rojo together fills me with dread. I call yellow for both in the first half.

To be fair, Jones was great against Watford. No reason he can’t do well against West Ham today.

Ecuador was so impotent, I only remember he was on the field because he's been listed as injured all this time yet there he was. I did not see a player that United needs to put on the field. He was ineffective for a team that was ineffective.
    Damning

Solskjaer likely to make as many as five changes to his Man Utd line-up today ahead of Barcelona return leg on Tuesday. Jones, Rojo, Lingard, Mata and Martial all likely to start against West Ham #MUFC @MirrorFootball

David McDonnell. 5 changes rumoured. Mata, Rojo, Martial, Jones and Lingard rumoured as those 5 new starters

Thanks guys. I got blocked by him for calling him out on some over-zealous tweets against us that turned out false.

Solskjær must be really confident he can get at Barcelona to be risking all 3 points with a weaker side here.

Hardly shocking. Two of which are forced with the Young and Shaw suspensions. Probably resting Rashford, Pogba and Smalling.

    De Gea

    Dalot
    Jones
    Lindelof
    Rojo

    McTominay
    Fred
    Lingard

    Mata
    Lukaku
    Martial

Rashford really should be rested with barca on Tuesday.

    De Gea
    Jones - Smalling - Lindelof - Dalot
    ---Fred
    Mctominay ---------Pereira

    --Pogba
    Lukaku ----Martial

Not a bad idea this at all. Although is Shaw injured? If not, he's out of the Barca return so he should play here and Dalot should be on the right.

Don't mind the diamond and two strikers as long as it plays like that.

But I think he'll go 433 with Lingard getting a start with Lukaku & Martial. Pereira to appear from the bench.

EDIT: realise now Shaw is suspended also.
