Disappointed that neither Laird or Williams got called up. Seems weird that Gomes did over them.
Its strange considering we're really short in the FB area

That being a relative term. He's at his best as a CB.
Laird hasn't played in months and O'Connor is better than Williams. Its a joke that he isn't in the squad.Disappointed that neither Laird or Williams got called up. Seems weird that Gomes did over them.

The virgin Declan Rice vs the Chad Scott McTominay
Laird played in that CL Youth game recently. Very well too I thought.Laird hasn't played in months and O'Connor is better than Williams. Its a joke that he isn't in the squad.
An entire month ago is hardly recent. He has played 115 minutes is 4 months and not at all in a month.Laird played in that CL Youth game recently. Very well too I thought.
Thought O'Connor played more at CB, and Williams more at LB?
Even that is more than Rojo.An entire month ago is hardly recent. He has played 115 minutes is 4 months and not at all in a month.
O'Connor played CB in the u18/19s because he is way better than everyone and held the backline together by himself. He plays fullback for the u23s and is better than Williams and just as good as Laird and a lot more experienced and match fit than Laird.
This is Man United they're playing against - West Ham will always be up for this one.West Ham are already on vacation, no excuses for dropping points here.
Yea, and neither of them should be playing.Even that is more than Rojo.
I'd have Williams over O'Conner at LB personally. An entire month ago is hardly recent. He has played 115 minutes is 4 months and not at all in a month.

No chance for me. Williams is great but O'Connor took the piss out of the u18s half the time it was so easy for him. The only thing Williams has over him is being a more direct attacker. O'Connor is an easily better defender though and far better composure. Williams' heart is good but it also leads him into getting into fights in half the games which is hardly what you want in a debutant. O'Connor is also more experienced and at a higher level. He is calmer, more composed, reads the game better, is a better defender, is just as fast and as good on the ball. There is little at this time to support Williams being better.I'd have Williams over O'Conner at LB personally.
Is that based on Jones not having a single yellow card this season?Jones and Rojo together fills me with dread. I call yellow for both in the first half.

Can’t see this, what does it say and who is it from please?

David McDonnell says United could make five changes with Jones, Rojo, Mata, Lingard, and Martial starting. Can’t see this, what does it say and who is it from please?
DamningEcuador was so impotent, I only remember he was on the field because he's been listed as injured all this time yet there he was. I did not see a player that United needs to put on the field. He was ineffective for a team that was ineffective.

Solskjaer likely to make as many as five changes to his Man Utd line-up today ahead of Barcelona return leg on Tuesday. Jones, Rojo, Lingard, Mata and Martial all likely to start against West Ham #MUFC @MirrorFootball
David McDonnell. 5 changes rumoured. Mata, Rojo, Martial, Jones and Lingard rumoured as those 5 new starters
Ylung and ShawIsnt Young suspended? 3 - 5 -2 with Jones, Smalling and Rojo as back 3?
Ylung and Shaw
Think it is because he reached 10 bookings, so out a couple of games.Shaw too? I thought he was only suspended for the second game against Barcelona. Does that mean lwb Rojo? That is even worse....

So you get more than 1 game after 10 yellows? That's not good tbh.Think it is because he reached 10 bookings, so out a couple of games.
He does play better with more assured players. I did say, together. Not one of those bothered by Jones renewal btw.Is that based on Jones not having a single yellow card this season?
Nope.So you get more than 1 game after 10 yellows? That's not good tbh.
Rashford really should be rested with barca on Tuesday.
Jones - Smalling - Lindelof - DalotDe Gea
Mctominay ---------Pereira---Fred
--PogbaLukaku ----Martial
Don't think that is a great idea. The last thing we want is t get beat today and then Tuesday and our season is as good as over.
