Was he not sent off for kicking a bottle?

Probably, but is there a rule against kicking water bottles? He didn't assault anyone, he didn't shout verbal abuse at the refs...

I think it's just excuse finding from Moss there. They don't like him on the touchline and will do anything to send him off, unless he sits there like a gormless LVG.

On the bright side this means Pogba is suspended for the League Cup game and not in the PL. ;)

Still annoyed about Ibra taking a goal off Mata. Would have been a simple goal but Ibra got his head on it and it went nowhere.

Wonder if Mata gave him a shout.. Probably would have

None of those referees decisions have been wrong some people here need to get a grip ..herrera was a foul pogba dived and Jose lashed out ..

    It was a dive, 100%.

Consistency is all we ask. If he was applying the same standards, Payet would've been booked twice.

So is it okay for Klopp or Conte to kick a water bottle?

The only real complaint you can have about Mourinho's treatments by refs is that other managers do the same stuff as him every week and he's the only one to get punished for it.

Klopp would have received a handjob from the refs over how much of a great emotive man he is.

    fecking ridiculous

Idiotic, isn't it. You have to endanger yourself to get a free kick, otherwise you're a diver. Except the rules say that if you endanger yourself (put your head down towards a semi-high boot) you should be carded. Now go figure that one out.
It makes no sense whatsoever. Common sense is lost on referees who just apply some rules like brainless drones.

pogba deserved a booking for a blatent dive

The ref didn't have to send mourinho to the stand a warning would've sufficed but under rules he's correct

Don't understand the hate, the ref wasn't wrong on either call.

Think the defender headed it away
