Had Memphis over Lingard, no idea why after Lingards impressive performance v CSKA but oh well.

Hopefully we can play the same way as we did before, we showed that we can do well against an ultra defensive team.

Schneiderlin just started training yesterday, he's not ready. Herrera hasn't been at his best recently and Carrick looked very good v CSKA.

With van Gaal's comments on Lingard in the press conference, it was kinda clear he'd be starting today.

van Gaal isn't a fan of Herrera in the deep midfield and with Schneiderlin ill (was a doubt for today) he's on the bench as a precaution

Schweinsteiger played well midweek and managed to drive forward a few times. Carrick was also quality. Don't understand the criticism, just approach the game the same way.
