Maybe I just don't understand football but I was under the distinct impression that when you play with a player wide like Mata who constantly tucks in you should only pair them with full-backs who are keen and able to fill the space and overlap constantly.

What's the point of a nothing offensive full-back behind a RW constantly tucking in? How in God's name can you switch the play if the RB doesn't have the brain to push high and wide?

Either O|le doesn't see the issue tactically, or he prefers it that way.

We'll see what happens in the second half. I still expect us to get the win, but I don't think it'll be the big statement that it could have been.

Yet there are managers with worse players than we have, who can make those players feel like they are the best and get performances out of them. Tactical nous might come into it as well.

Really disappointed with thsg first half. Pretty toothless. Wed some changes fast to mix things up and give us something different. Hopefully Ole doesn't wait too long to do them. More creativity would be nice.

Thoroughly expect us to score a few late in the game. But my god, we are predictable and slow on the ball. I can't find out what our plan is when we get the ball high up the pitch. We very rarely succeed in creating situations where we aren't outnumbered by a lot. How do we expect to break down the opposition if our players constantly are up against two or three oppositions.
