Cheers
Rojo not 100% though, so no blaming me if lineup prediction goes wrong
Cheers
You missed Rashford too.No Rojo , Shaw , Jones or Blind all injured ?
He'll be there and starting 100%, Mourinho is trying to force him to make the LW spot his own.You missed Rashford too.
I've got a bad feeling about this.Going to the game today...come on united..I've got a good feeling about today
Probably. In which case Mata will probably make way for Carrick with the front three being Mkhi, Zlatan and Rashford.Mourinho said a change in formation, does that mean going back to 433 with Carrick/Herrera/Pogba?
When did he say that?Mourinho said a change in formation, does that mean going back to 433 with Carrick/Herrera/Pogba?
No chance of that happening IMO. Rashford's permanently been given LW position it looks like.Think Martial is gonna start instead of Rashford
Agreed. He might get a few minutes off the bench but its 50/50 with Rooney returningNo chance of that happening IMO. Rashford's permanently been given LW position it looks like.
Most likely will be same lineup as today but if Carrick comes back in then Mata will probably be the one to make way.
We need to win, we're off the back of a really good result, and it's a very winnable game.
0-0 draw it is then.
Apparently in the press conference, just read it on the previous page of this thread. When did he say that?
From what I watched of it he simply said for the previous match he trained them with two formations and is developing the ability to change formation mid game to pose challenges to the opposition. Didn't see him say anything about formation for this game.Apparently in the press conference, just read it on last page of this thread.
Why not? He's been really poor for a while now. If a player isn't playing well they should be dropped.Mata should not be dropped please. His combo with Miki seems deadly.
Carrick should remain on the bench.
Yes, Martial for Rashford if he has been behaving himself in the dressing room.
It's a pity Pogba has been pushed back in the last two or three games. He is undoubtedly better further upfront although his last few games there were poor.
I'd like to see him get some minutes but probably unlikely, I think though if we revert to a 4-3-3 we'll start Mkhitaryan and Mata and drop Rashford.Agreed. He might get a few minutes off the bench but its 50/50 with Rooney returning
That's exactly what he said! From what I watched of it he simply said for the previous match he trained them with two formations and is developing the ability to change formation mid game to pose challenges to the opposition. Didn't see him say anything about formation for this game.
Luckhurst says the word is that Martial will start instead of Rashford.
I had given up hope on seeing him start. Especially after today's Sun exclusive. Believe it when I see it.
I didn't - saw it on the caf. Please don't give the scum any clicks
Now if this is true, Martial better score a hat-trick so that Jose won't have any excuses to drop him from the next game.Luckhurst says the word is that Martial will start instead of Rashford.
I dropped him for Martial in my team. He'll be there and starting 100%, Mourinho is trying to force him to make the LW spot his own.
Then I shouldn't have changed my predictionFrom what I watched of it he simply said for the previous match he trained them with two formations and is developing the ability to change formation mid game to pose challenges to the opposition. Didn't see him say anything about formation for this game.
Oh god no. I can even accept Rashford ahead of Martial but not Rooney.Rumour on twitter is that Rooney starts so that could be the one change Mourinho is apparently making. Probably a load of nonsense though.
Ikr grrrThen I shouldn't have changed my prediction
Hoping for this. Want to see how the front four link up.Thinking it might be something like this:
DDG
Valencia - Bailly - Smalling - Rojo
Herrera - Pogba
Mata - Mhiki - Martial
Zlatan
I hope not.Rumour on twitter is that Rooney starts so that could be the one change Mourinho is apparently making. Probably a load of nonsense though.
To be fair they've been generally quite reliable.M.E.N. speculating again.
13:04KEY EVENT
Mourinho to make one change
It’s unconfirmed of course, but the early suggestion is Anthony Martial for Marcus Rashford will be the only change to the United side which beat Leicester.
That would mean Marcos Rojo, who came off at half-time at the King Power Stadium and was not pictured in training this week, is available to continue at left-back.
Mourinho spoke effusively about Rashford on Friday and the only peep about Martial was the injury he suffered in the build-up to Watford’s opener against United in September. The reverse psychology was convincing (provided Martial starts). Perhaps the key to Martial lining up in the future is for him not to be talked about in a relevant way.
We should reiterate the team is unconfirmed.
