People are talking about the ways to overcome Watford's 3-4-3, but they played their last games with a normal 4-3-3 and, against Arsenal away, almost a 5-3-2 (or 3-5-2) with Niang falling on the left-wing. Maybe that last formation is likely here, and I wonder where is Niang going to play, if against Valencia or Shaw/Blind/Darmian. The choice of our left-back might depend on that.

ZlatanI think the passing of Graham Taylor has galvanised the club and the town a little - and along with the loan signing of Niang - it has made them even more dangerous opponents, as we saw against Arsenal.
We need a fast start here - no strollers. They will probably attack more than Hull so it should open up spaces for our creative players.

Yeah, was thinking that today. Enough time in between, try to finish off the French in the 1st-leg and then rest players for Blackburn and the 2nd-leg to keep them fresh for the final on the 26th. Ideal scenario.The Blackburn game could well be the last game we can use to rest players. In the next round there's more likelihood we'll get a difficult team, maybe even City, Chelsea, Arsenal or Spurs - away ! Ditto the EL, so a good first leg score would be great as we might be able to rotate players.
But basically we will have to put out our best possible team from the FA game till the end of the season - with maybe 9 games in April.The fact we beat a poor Leicester side should not give us false confidence.
Watford have been solid recently and will give us a tough game.We should stick with the same eleven as the one against Leicester. We have been struggling to find out what's our best XI. If I have to make change it will be Martial for Rashford because he deserves it and should had play last week after good performance in his last four games.
Shaw is probably not fit and ready so stick with Blind for now.
Martial will probably play against St. Etienne given he's used to French teams. At least that's what I think.DDG
