Kobbie and Eriksen vs. a very athletic and vertical Spurs team?

Que? Is this some kind of self-sabotage to justify bringing on McTominay and Casemiro together in the 2nd half as a precursor to an unending McTom/Casemiro run in the side?
Had a q uick look at spurs forum

    Højbjerg, Skipp, Bentancur it is.

    feckKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

    Think we'll be fine

Nice to see Case and Martinez on the bench.

    Decent side in my opinion

    Blimey.

If Spurs plays with a high line like Ange prefers then we'll do good - we are only successfull when we got space to run at.

Great to see Casemiro and Martinez back on the bench. Few more back and the squad would be looking much stronger.

As for the team starting, who knows that to expect at this point but hoping for the best.

It's a shame the likes of Martinez and Casemiro can only make the bench, but it's great having them close to being back

Kulusevski a big miss for Spurs. Not much creatively with both him and Madders missing. Going to have to come from the full backs and Bentancur.

Non-numerical lineup for those of us who don't want to use our brains?

That’s a fecking bang average spurs 11 especially the midfield and front 3. Honest to God if we don’t dominate and beat them then this imposter of a manager deserve to be sacked at full time.

So you want McT ahead of Eriksen?

Neither McT or Eriksen paired with Mainoo sound great for two very different reasons (one technical and one physical).

If McTominay plays with Mainoo, we get some physicality vertically but struggle to control.
If Eriksen plays with Mainoo, we've got two physically non-dominant midfielders and, well, a third in Bruno.

My preference (and hope) is that Erik is looking towards trying the Casemiro/Mainoo pair. I think Eriksen will expose Mainoo to Spurs transitions.

    Exciting midfield combination.

Great to see Martinez and Casemiro back on the bench.

You can’t please some people

Got a lot of creativity in the midfield, but just so weak physically and defensively. We are very lucky Son, Maddison, and Bissouma are missing. Pedro Porro and Brennan Johnson are going to enjoy themselves if dear, old Marcus once again decides that putting a shift in is not his thing.

This could be a very good game. Still think we smash them
