It’s the Spurs fans.Why do we keep giving away such unnecessary corners?
He is in this game. Wouldn't say that of his time here in general. His movement in this game has been much better but not pretending he has been like that in every game because he hasn't. Hoping he builds on this and we see more of the same for rest of season.Two beautiful, yet different finishes by Hojlund and Rashford.
Next half, we need to take a bit more control of the game. I'd probably bring Casemiro on for Eriksen, who hasn't really done much for me, and the intensity seems a bit too much.

Maybe not that but there were a few occasions where McTominay was practically on top of Højlund and making the same runs, which was annoying since it left massive holes in our midfield.

We definitely need a bit more control and grit in midfield. If we're smart and clinical, we could pick off Spurs and score another 2 or 3 in the second half. Spurs look very shaky in defence.
Most games this season I've seen him making mature decisions when holding the ball up. He has occasionally not been strong enough or taken a poor touch but his decision making has largely been good. He just doesn’t get the ball back from the other forwards very often.

Something I've seen for quite a while is many of our players are so comically bad in anticipating where a ball will bounce or a bad control will likely go, as if they don't spend everyday using a football.Itsnot often you witness a side as awful as Utd at set pieces at both ends of the pitch. Any self respecting coach in the PL should require a couple of weeks work to resolve this, but it seems we can't!
The three up front is ideal (although Garnacho hasn’t played well so far today) IF Hojlund can improve his hold/link up play. Pleasing to see more from him today in that regard. They’ve all definitely got goals in them.
The midfield is more concerning as we are still struggling to get any control in that area. Really hoping that Cas in for Eriksen will be transformative in that area. Shaw and Martinez will obviously really help there as well with their passing/technique.
Knowing ETH he'll do the exact opposite and take off Mainoo for Eriksen.
Mainoo is always better than McTominay, no matter what.What a weird first half. Started off really well for a great goal, then we conceded so much possession and control. Spurs easily could have had another 2, possibly more, especially from corners and set pieces. Could be losing, but we're going in 2-1 up.
Got to control the game better in the second half. Keep it tight at the back. Ffs, somebody take control when defending corners and sort out the marking.- Status
