So far much like our more difficult pre-season games: no real midfield link up. Lots of responsibility on Memphis to drop deep and start things. Only real joy down the flanks. Attackers pretty much uninvolved. I hope it changes but I think we'd look much better with a 4-3-3 where we can outnumber Spurs in central midfield. We smashed them only a few months ago, and Van Gaal has ditched everything that delivered that victory..

We finally have a lot of midfielders and a pacy winger yet we've decided not to play it like that. Baffling.
