In fairness we spent a lot of money on Maguire and AWB, who were two players in demand by City too and who help improve our defensive record last season a fair bit. Difficult to reconcile that with what we have seen this season though.
There's a lack of leadership in the team. Both Maguire and Bailly left the job of stoping (or thinking about stopping) that free kick to each other. Maguire, as Captain, has to take responsibility there.Poor poor defending on both goals.Defence is shakey and the midfield seems non-existent. Spurs have so much space.
