We expected a win vs. Palace and Brighton and nearly came out of those two with 1 point. We haven't proved there's any certainties about playing a team this strong thus far. Maybe if we win this, then I'll have more confidence going into big games, but yeah, I'm nervous.

We’re better than this Spurs team. If we decide to turn up today then we should be comfortable.

I see Son wasn’t injured after all, bad news for us indeed. Will be interesting to see how our current manager sets up against a team where the tactical approach is so incredibly easy to know in advance. If we crush them 3-0 with ease I will say well done OGS, but I am confident we will not. We should have fresher legs given their European exploits midweek, absolutely no excuses tonight.

And people think a rubbish player like Höjbjerg will walk through the midfield? Says everything about where we’re going as a team if true.

I think you’re reading into things a bit much! I’d expect us to beat Spurs with the team we’ve put out. I’m not saying this is a guaranteed put your house on it type of affair, but we should beat these at full strength.

Feel bad for VDB. A great option off the bench, but we're going to struggle to get him into this starting 11 when all of Matic, Pogba and Bruno are fit and in form.

VDB will start seeing more minutes in "primary matches" when the CL group stage starts rolling. VDB has the benefit of being a very, very good player, he's someone we can sub on and he can make the team better, and more imprtantly: Start in matches and be sure he's not going to be a detriment like Pereira was.

Strong team. Bailly in for Lindelof is a positive change I must. Lindelof has been unconvincing at best, against his Palace display was shocking. Bailly was good in the league Cup, particularly this week. But this is a different level so hopefully he can keep it up.

Sissoko will be able to match Pogba physically and will work to nullify him breaking the lines. Imagine Hoejberg will be there to man mark Fernandes and stiffle us/push us wide where we are weak, lack the crosses man to beat etc.
