How does that team work then? Diamond in midfield or something?

Everyone hates the lineup so we'll probably win comfortably.

McTomminay on the bench and no Perreira.

    feck off

Only 2 attackers. The side is full of midfielders and defenders. Not sure how we'll attack then.

We will always lack numbers whenever we go forward. That lineup is terrible.
SAF used to put out ridiculous lineups at home. How about we watch at least 5 minutes of the game before deciding it's terrible.

I can’t believe that squad is real. Full of defensive minded midfielders and no wide players. The best you can hope for is to stop Spurs from playing and hope to score from a long ball to Lukaku or set piece. Absolute poverty for a Manchester United team at home. To Spurs no less.

Glad that Valencia is back but that's about it. Where is Pereira? :(

I don't agree with Jones playing (probably because I don't like him) but let him prove me wrong. Lindelöf hasn't exactly covered himself in glory.

    Jesus, that's fecking tragic.

I like that team. I think it'll be Pogba playing the wide left forward? Much better than Rashford or Sanchez there anywhere.

    Most likely be a 4-4-2 I think.

Alexis is probably still recovering from the injury, there's Rashford left from the attacking players on the bench, no idea what's up with Martial.

Would Rashford starting make it 'more attacking'?

    Manchester United team
Starting XI: De Gea, Valencia (c), Jones, Smalling, Shaw, Matic, Herrera, Fred, Pogba, Lingard, Lukaku
Subs: Grant, Lindelof, Young, McTominay, Fellaini, Rashford, Alexis

    Tottenham Hotspur team
Starting XI: Lloris (c), Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Dier, Dembele, Eriksen, Lucas, Dele, Kane
Subs: Vorm, Aurier, Davies, Sanchez, Winks, Lamela, Llorente

Six changes to the side who lost to Brighton with Valencia, Jones, Smalling, Matic, Herrera and Lingard coming in for Young, Lindelof, Bailly, Pereira, Mata and Martial.

Good to see that Shaw retains his place in the starting XI.

10/11 - can’t imagine too many people got 11/11 with this team, well done if you did. Thought Sanchez would start over Herrera.

Now let’s smash them 1-0 with a dodgy pen and 32% possession. Come on Utd.

    Th
Mourinho ready to sabotage the season, get his paycheck and move on. Why else would you start the walking talking disasters that are smalling and jones?
They both will be joint man of the match for tonights game. With Jones actually winning for scoring a hattrick to Smallings 2 goals

Wow @ that lineup. Very negative for a home game. We are setting up like we are Newcastle or West Ham, lookinh to grab a good point over a top side.

The sooner this joker is gone, the better.

Basically decided to blame some individuals for the Brighton defeat from what I’m seeing?

    *sigh*

I am guessing it's 3-5-1, not sure why Herrera is needed in there instead of using another attacker and just having Pogba and Fred as the 2 CM's.

The bench is not good enough. Where is Martial and where is Periera?

SAF used to put out ridiculous lineups at home. How about we watch at least 5 minutes of the game before deciding it's terrible.

I'm going to watch and full ready to eat my words if it works. Doesn't prevent from commenting on the initial lineup though.

So Shaw and Valencia hoofing crosses at Lukaku? Tragic.
I sure hope so. Surely, that’s what you want in a team featuring Lukaku. Problem has usually been getting in positions to the cross the ball.

Impossible to judge the team right now but it doesn’t inspire. Let’s hope for a decent performance.
