Think both Valencia and Young are awful today. Their attack/support is usually average stuff to downright shite but even their defending is iffy today.

We didn't luck into an equaliser, we played our way back into the game, pressured the mistake and capitalised with quality.
Defensively we're all at sea. We are relying heavily on the midfield to cover for us and our centre backs, especially Smalling, have been exposed lots. Smalling has been our worst player so he'll probably score in the second half!

Agreed. They are a bit better than us but we are obviously very much in it. We are looking to counter too and not just sit back .Two brilliant crosses, two brilliant finishes. Great game so far, can go either way.I think we're sitting too deep at times defensively without applying any pressure when Tottenham have spells of possession. Agree with that. Think Mourinho doesn't want high press most of the time. Although I think we got the players to press well higher up.Lukaku is the only player in our squad who is a good crosserInteresting game. Not great quality of football since both teams had made their fair share of mistakes, but very entertaining.
Pogba very will, but maybe he was at fault for their goal since we don´t know the assignments (clearly Young was told to press high up the pitch in that situation). Herrera did also quite well, Valencia and Jones looked pretty shaky.I'm watching a US channel, and it's absolutely horrible. What a bunch of morons commentating and in the studio.
You're blind if you can't see that they're using the ball better.Valencia is just a terrible player these days. He is turning around 360° every time he recieves the pass and then passes it back or hoofs it forward. He is also terrible defensively, they are going through that side all the time. Thought we won't see worse on right back than Darmian but at least with him you know he is just a limited in his ability with the ball, Valencia just lacks any sort of imagination or intelligence despite having at least decent control of the ball.- Status
