This Swansea team are a bunch of frauds. They should hang their heads in shame and if I was a Swansea supporter, I'd be disgusted with them.

Why? Because if they'd put half as much effort into this season as they did in this first half, they wouldn't be struggling in the lower end of the table.

As SAF once famously said..."They're cheating their manager"

I reckon 85% of Rooney's successful passes had Valencia as the recipient. Any official stats to back me up? :D

I'd say you got it right apart from the bolded.

Don't think it's their two striker system, it's their collecting pressing.

We simply do not do it.

It's so fecking frustrating. We don't press, move, defend or attack in units. It's just pure individual players and plays in a disciplined formation but no real direction when on the ball.
It's definitely helping them stop us from building play but the troubles we're having defensively are due to the two strikers for me. More teams should do it.

Exactly and people typing embarrassment and how he needs to cut it out are stupid. At this time of the season where top 4 is on the line whole team is tired and injured i would do it thrice in a match win a penalty and risk a sending off if that meant three points today. Moral victories dont win you champions leagues or premier leagues or even thetop 4 spaces.

So what you are saying is that you would be happy for us to cheat our way to a champions league spot?

Not an outright dive by he definitely knew what he was doing and made the most of it. As he should. Well done lad.

What is wrong with the midfield? Ball is just not sticking.

Also, are we missing the height of Fellaini? Seems like all their crosses are ending up right in the box, waiting for a header or a tap it.

Think this team will have to see this match out. Won't want to risk Mata.

We need to attack Swansea out wide more effectively. Their 4-1-2-1-2 has largely nullified our ability to create down the centre. By packing the middle however, they are under-manning their wings. This means we should have 2v1 situations out wide. Martial has been our greatest threat; however, Young needs to offer a genuine overlapping threat in order for our attack to improve.

There's nothing great about cheating the ref in order to win a penalty. If it was the other way around you be going mad like the rest of us.

Can't stand this diving malarky in football, makes me sick.
You take every inch you can get my friend. I think we have had many decisions given against us and you or me typing paras after it did nothing for us. If this wins us the game well then feck it i dont care. We need to win and we take every inch we get.

What is it with Swansea players trying to kill our players? First RvP in 2012 and now Fabianski on Rashford? Poor form from them.

Smart from Rashford. Our players are too nice and honest at times.

And I blame the wind anyway, pushed him over

Absolutely. Massive game raisers. Come to Old Trafford and their eyes light up.

Love everyone saying rashford will be looking at himself in mirror but why is it ok for aguero to bait in felliani to get him sent off and most say it was cheeky but rashford who is in full flight expects contact goes down and he is the villain. Disgusting.

Chelsea and City players can cheat but United players can't according to some people.

You see it time and time again. Also all these teams who have now seemingly gone on holiday because they are safe. People pay lots of their hard earned cash to come and watch you, at least make some effort.

Any other club, any other player and it's 'He's won a penalty there' or 'That's clever, he saw the keeper coming'. With us it's like original sin.

Dean Saunders can feck off too.

For those talking about the red, I'm assuming it's about the Lingard challenge? It's a clear yellow card and if the ref called it as a red then it's just as bad a decision as the penalty. We're not lucky to be with 11 men, we're lucky to be 1-0 up and that's it. If we were with 10 then we've been shafted.

Mourinho's gameplan is playing into Swansea's hands. Our midfield is too deep because the ONLY strategy we're attempting is to use Rashford's pace on the counter. It's such a predictable way to setup the side. We need to aim for better possession in the second half.

So what you are saying is that you would be happy for us to cheat our way to a champions league spot?
I would be yes. I have no problems with it. We are not fixing matches or taking drugs, its called playacting just like teams cheat by wasting time or you know exaggerating red cards (aguero, hazard). It is play acting and if you call it cheating then fair enough. I would do it and most players would too. Nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about.

Swansea have done well to stop Herrera but we need Mata for Rooney to give us that composure behind the 3 attackers

Pretty much every Swansea chance came from a glaring offside as well. BBC and the American streams seem rather disinterested in that.

English pundits are terrified of calling out English divers. Sickening. Was a blatant dive, have some fecking principles.

Is everyone else on BT seeing this 4 min long ad for an Eddie Stobart model truck? fecking hell, BT aren't half low rent. Next it'll those old people slacks from the back of the Sunday People.

That's a disgraceful dive. It's uncharacteristic of him. I really hope this is a one off.

    Mourinho's plans might have changed
Paddy Crerand thought it was a penalty, which just about says it all. That goal might change Mourinho’s mind about a substitution. He was watching Rooney take it from the jaws of the tunnel up the opposite end. United barely deserve it but the goal could be monumental in the grand scheme of things.

None of the substitutes are out on the pitch at the moment, so Mourinho might keep it how it is for now.

    Did he dive? Yes.
    Does everybody do it? Yes.
I can't stand diving but I can't stand all that moral high ground bullocks too.

Can we pause for a moment and consider how BT just ran an a 3 minute advert for a scale model toy of a fecking lorry?

Did I just see an Ad for a 3 pound replica of a delivery truck?

I think, it is because, in general, you want your team players to hold high standards and don't want them to resort to negative tactics to influence the match.

However, I don't think there is a single supporter who will not take the advantage gained.

    Good enough for me. :wenger:
