Interesting to see how and where our attacking play is focused. It is normally from the left but with Damian and Memphis play their first game together, I think we are going to see Mata roaming and participate there a lot. It fits as it leaves Valencia and Rooney's favorite long pass.

As stated above, quick and direct play are needed in this game whether it is from the way we play or players.

Valencia is more offensive. Sunderland probably won't offer much but bodies cluttered together and in the way. Valencia will offer more.

I feel really good. Gonna be a goal bonanza if we score in the first half hour, and I think we will.

Nah, City were by far the better side in the first 35 minutes or so, KdB put them in front (might've been offside) and Lloris made two or three great saves to keep Spurs in the game.

At home vs Sunderland, I don't think we need Carrick and Schneiderlin. We need more movement in midfield to open up the inevitably parked bus. If we get an early goal we'll destroy them. If we don't, it will be a hard toil and inevitable caf meltdown about slow, static passing.
