    extremely wasteful from MUFC. all the best chances, all the possession, all the shots, yet nothing but misplaced passes or fantastic saves. Very frustrating.
     
    We look fluid, I just wish we didn't have such a tendency to slow things down, unnecessarily. When we're in full flight and taking fewer touches, we drag the opposition out of shape and create space for others to run into.

    Same again today. As soon as we slow it down, Stoke regroup.

    There are goals here for us, just need to show more impetus.
     
    I'll look forward to the day we finally find ourselves a proper right-back...because Valencia ain't one of them.
     
    Replace Ibra with someone with pace like Auba next season and we could be a really really good team to watch.

    For me there's a line between frustration and depression. Our gameplay has been way too frustrating to the point where I felt depressed at the end of the half coz I'm tired of big players going missing and everyone else making shit decisions all over the place.
     
    We are playing wonderful football. It's only a matter of time before we score. Very refreshing to see passing and movement in the midfield.

    He hasn't been as efficient I agree. If he made some "gimmie" goals, he'd easily eclipse Costa's goal tally.
     
    Everything but the goals so far, and we bloody well need the 3 points. A bit anxious here...
     
    Our attack is good. Cant believe we arent ahead. Should be like 3 ahead by now.
     
    We don't score in the 1st half and I start to doubt we'll win. Just hope the players don't think like that.
     
    Few digs at Zlatan going around. I wouldnt bother. His control stature awareness and poise are all still world class. The way he created that chance alone made the first half worth while.

    He'd be top scorer in the league if he could start scoring some of these sitters he misses.
     
    Ibrahimovic is surprisingly wasteful these days. also, I must admit I don't really like Rashford in that position. regardless of whether he scores today or not, we need a proper winger there.
     
    Were playing really well. Moving the ball fluidly just missing the finish. Mata, Lingard and Herrera have been great.Id bring on Martial for Rashford though as he is better on the left.
     
    Just worried this might turn out be one of those games. Dropped off a little towards the end, hopefully the players step it up.
     
    Ibra has been very good yet again. Great pass to Lingard but should have scored after 1 min.
     
    I´m happy. It hasn´t been fantastic, but more than good enough. With a bit more luck/skill we would´ve had some goals.

    Stoke actually had 2 decent chances though, not great defending against counters on those occasions.

    Lingard MoM so far for me, good passing, good movement. One good chance (excellent save I think) as well.

    Bailly impressed me again, as he has most games
     
    Gotta say that half went fast. Mostly because there weren't many stoppage in plays since we had the majority of the possession, moved the ball relatively fast and we're actually playing good!

    I would agree with this, Martial should come on at some point. By the way is Mkhitaryan available for this match?
     
    Have had 3 great chances: Ibra, Lingard and Pogba and 1 chance out of nothing:Mata
    Better finishing and e'd be 2-0 up atleast
    Ibra needs to start converting these easy chances, and Rashford, what's up with him!
     
    Last season we had so many 0-0 scores at half time but this is nothing like any of them. Instead of boring sideways zombie football without any chances, this is fluid attack attack attack football, good intensity afforded by the whole team pressing and looking for the forward pass or to drive forward. We've been mauling them and it's only good goalkeeping, poor luck and finishing that has seen them hang on. We could score a fair few in the second half.
     
    All that creation and penetration but still a half time result van Gaal would have gotten. Very frustrating half that. Jose will no doubt be livid with the wasted chances. I can see Stoke scoring some header or a worldly from outside the box. We can't not beat these mugs, they are bottom for a reason.

    Big half coming up next. I'd bring on Martial for Rashford or maybe Zlatan and put Marcus through the middle. Give it 20 mins though, no doubt Rooney will come on and Mata will be shifted right to accomadate his useless fat ass.
     
    Are there seriously people watching us this season and picking Ibra out as someone we need to improve on? Mental.
     
    Not worried about Ibra. Like any top striker he'll be wasteful for a few weeks and then pick up 5 or 6 in 4 matches.

    It's the usual people on here. If you look at their posts about Ibra, they will never change their opinion.

    Ibra has been good yet again. Our best player this season.
     
    How are we not winning this game? I'm starting to get concerned. So many good chances.
