    Annoying near the end of the half, when we got 4 in the box and Valencia didn't whip in a first time cross. When the defender was in the way to be hit like usual.
     
    we look incredibly fluid.
    can't wait. to hear scholes say if rooney was on wed be ahead

    They haven't. They've been shite. Poor finishing has been our undoing, and some decent saves. Ibra should have hit it across the keeper, Pogba should have put his shot anywhere other than where he did. Their defending has been woeful. Playing Ibra onside by miles, having Joe fecking Allen marking Pogba for a free header. They are there for the taking.
     
    We've played some good stuff and should be 3 up, just need to keep it up in the second half and we'll get the goal.
     
    So Rashford is now shit and overrated and Rooney has to start over Pogba, this place :lol::lol:
     
    Stoke keeper is doing a Brad Friedel. Doubt he'll play this well again all year.

    We should have put this game to bed already. Not just with the chances we have had, but with others we should have had but chose the wrong pass.

    No signs that we won't win. Much rather be attacking the Stretty when chasing a goal though. Never mind.
     
    What's up with OT atmosphere? Haven't heard it this bad for a long time (excluding LVG final weeks but fans weren't happy then?)
     
    Mata and Lingard by far our best players in the first half. They kept the ball moving very well in Stoke´s half. If only our finishing was any good then we´d be out of sight already.

    We are completely outplaying Stoke, moving the ball really well, the only reason why the game isn't over is a combination of a God like performance from their keeper and poor finishing.
     
    While the build up was too slow under LvG, in this game i fell like we're rushing it a little too much.
     
    Should be 3-0 up. Bailly has been immense at the back. Pogba has been wasteful today, should have scored following that great move between Ibra-Lingard and then that free header he had in the box. Herrera has been good. Mata has been great.

    We've created some excellent chances with fluid passing. Ibra missed a sitter within the first 5 minutes. Pogba missed a good shot off a Ibra backheel flick and Pogba missed a good header opportunity. We should easily be up 2-0 or 3-0 even though stoke are parking the bus.
     
    Some players look a bit tired. Should really be 3-0 up though. Zlatan and Pogba should have buried their chances.
     
    Stoke have been fortunate that their keeper is having a good game.

    We will regroup at half time and come out and score 2 or 3.
     
    Playing well but it's a bit dull. Atmosphere's funereal. They look dangerous on the counter though.
     
    We created chances but Stoke are terrible and we're not much better.

    We take ages to bring the ball forward. Slow as feck.
     
    Good performance that first half. Lingard, mata and herrera have been excellent. Pogba, rashford and ibramhimovic need to improve though. We look much more fluid. Let's hope those first half chances won't prove costly. If we keep that level we will eventually win. Let's not give away daft free kicks in our half though.

    Yup :eek: was soooo quiet in the 1 min of extra time
     
    In fairness the Stoke keeper has made some excellent saves. Namely the save on Lingard chance from Ibra cross.

    Playing Mata and Lingard between their defense and attack gives us so much space. You're right, it's just the finishing letting us down.
     
    We had our chances, pretty good overall but we need to score. Ibra really should have went for the far corner with his shot and Pogba should have done better too.
     
    Not bad at all. But it's time to start, y'know, scoring goals.

    Rashford needs to be involved a bit more. He's hugging the touchline too much.
