Even when it goes out way, surely people can see how bad the implementation is. For things you can't easily see, give the benefit to the attacker. VAR should only be for obvious mistakes. This is the same thing that happened in Cricket. Reviews were brought in to fix obvious mistakes, not marginal decisions.
