Luke Shaw is a fecking tank. What a player he is now.We are getting a lot of wrong decisions now. Ole has to be a bit more vocal and try to be on refs head.
Was clearly a pity decision. Shows the issue with VAR is the people behind it not the technology.
Was the foul at some point on the line/inside the box? Yes. Stonewall peno.Such a stupid decision on the penalty there. The only reason to not play advantage there is to award the penalty, and then they decide it wasn't a penalty! Terrible decision because it looked like Greenwood buried that.
Just as well it's happening when we're 4-0 up. We've played well, bearing in mind Southampton have looked ragged. A few more would be nice in the second half.They just showed the replay.

The refs and the FA are on our payroll.I know they are down to 10 men, but the intensity of our performance has been exactly what was required in the last 2 games. I suppose the more players on the pitch running for every ball and hunting it back when we lose it, is infectious. This slight modification in attitude makes a world of difference.

Well if you're referring to the penalty then I must defend Dean: he gave the correct decision but VAR overruled him.Long gone are the days when Luke Shaw used to hit the first defender on every cross.
Luke and Ole deserve all the praise for Luke's meteoric rise in performance.Shaw is ridiculous.Never been this relaxed since ever.

It's almost like some talented, but less intense player is missing from the starting line up.Not the worst of halves, Luke Shaw MotH so far with 2 assists.Been the best half for us for a while! I'm torn between wanting the likes of Cavani, Bruno, Rashy and perhaps Shaw rested and Donny and Martial given a go to try and get them firing

Shaw and AWB have been fantastic btw.I'm not one to put a tin foil hat on about these things, but the amount of VAR decisions (and non-decisions) in the last few games has been staggering. The odd one is understandable, but these are mounting up. The Maguire disallowed goal, the Fred non-penalty, The Sheff Utd goal and the disallowed Martial goal which were essentially the exact same incident.
If not for the score, I'd be raging about that call. Should have played advantage since it was so tight, especially as Greenwood had a clear chance. It makes me wonder if secretly they don't want VAR so they are screwing up whenever possible to say look how bad it is at the end of the season.
There was an interview with him on Talksport and he said him and his team are 'nice lads' and maybe need to be in the officials ears a bit more. That being nice goes against them.
As you say 9/10 that’s given as a penalty, if it’s on the line it’s always a pen, but suddenly they decide it isn’t? 1 clear replay and the defenders foot is on the line it’s just pathetic and they’re not held to any standards.- Status
