Let’s be honest, we only scored through individual brilliance and our best two chances came from the same. It’s what wins games like this but Soton executed their game plan better than ours. We should have gone like for like in the second half but our front 3 don’t tend to defend or drop back as much, and we don’t play with one up front.

They did it better than us. We need to adapt better.

At the end of the day given what happened on the weekend, it’s 2 points dropped but we’ve gained a point which could be crucial

He market no one. Absolutely criminal to let their man in front and hold him off. He has qualities but weakness is not something you want in a CB. Not the first time his weak play has cost us points. The guy actually moved towards him he should have be manhandled behind the cb long before the ball came in.

The substitutions process was badly managed by the United bench. Always leave a window in case of emergency, like if a keeper is sent off, or in case of injury as happened yesterday. The bench could have easily made four subs in two windows.

Apart from Norwich I don’t see any foregone conclusions.

I can see Leicester losing 1 or 2 of theirs.
United could lose 1 or 2 of theirs but I don't think they will.
So I guess I'm saying I think United will get 3rd but, who knows it seems anything can happen season!
