Their gameplan of hassling everyone (Pogba especially) took us off our game. We didn't make very much in the game.
For those who are saying we don't need Sancho - we need better options off the bench as can be seen tonight. I'm not saying that Sancho is a bench warmer, but the top three are interchangeable already to some degree - adding Sancho in will allow rest, provide healthy competition, and allow Ole to pick and choose who to play for a given game (as SAF always did). For example, Mason was kept very quiet tonight - this is not a slight just an observation.

They were really up for it tonight but we still created enough chances to win it.

And that's the strange thing. Why did we want it more? We can't really finish higher. So, what is it? The manager signed a 4 year contract extension a month or so ago, and I would say that the players have bought into him. Bodes well for us. But still, you lot have a hell of a lot more to play for. We've got a bit of pride, not least after some of the dross we had up until November (refuse to mention that score line!!)
