The players look nervous out there.

First 18 mins, they were the better side both on and off the ball and deservedly took the lead although Martial should have scored that 1v1 when gifted clean through on goal. Pogba caught in possession and he’s done it a couple of times this half which is a worry. Scored two good goals to go ahead. Last 20 mins they’ve pretty much controlled possession without really threatening. Ole no doubt will be telling the players to step it up big time as Southampton are playing really well both on and off the ball.

Also how the feck Romeu escaped without a red card for that terrible tackle on Greenwood is simply a disgrace. Absolutely disgusting tackle which could very easily have broken his ankle. There was no need for that.

Takes a team to bypass a press, Southampton are pressing well. The real problem caused was DeGea choosing to pass to Pogba, yes, but it was Pogba being far too casual.

Man. After a shaky start, we really are able to turn things around. Last season and before losing 1 nil to Southampton we knew a painful time was coming, hopefully trying to at least get a tie. Now the lads just go, concentrate and bam! Score 2 right away! This is amazing!

This would be a point if they started comparing Wan Bissaka or Pogba who play in completely different positions as well. But it's obvious they're comparing the trio because they are our forwards and our fastest players.

VAR needs to be separate body, well ditached from those in refeere clan. Use voice changers just to be safe, cant beleive you have a tech there to intervene when its needed but this whole lets try to dodge every chance possible to correct decisions on the pitch is some bullshit.

If you spot that it's never anything other than a red card. I get worked up easy in those situations and dream of having a Zlatan or a Keane to go intimidate that cnut. But I guess we've got bigger things to focus on.

Would expect Southampton to come out second half the same as they did the first, lots of energy, lots of pressing. They did tire as the first half went on which bodes well, if we can get through that first 15-20 minutes and not concede, or even score ourselves I'd fancy our chances to get all three points.

Lindelof was so dumb passing into pogba there. I couldnt actually believe it. A switch to the other flank and we would be on the counter with Southampton committed to the press. Its how we scored our second goal.
