What is the point of having VAR when incidents like that are just completely ignored. It’s happened quite a lot with regards to dodgy tackles this season.

I can only think that score bias comes into it ie the referees reviewing are taking the score line/dominant team into account in these decisions, when it should have zero bearing.

I really don’t get it. So they looked at that replay a few times at different speeds and came to the conclusion that was a fair challenge? I literally can’t imagine someone sat in that studio saying “nope that’s ok”, why was that not referred to the ref to go check on the monitor?
