    Surprised Carrick wasn't earmarked for Pogba's debut. I'd have thought a calming voice/attitude would be essential next to someone who is bound to be running on adrenaline tonight.
     
    Mkhitaryan is still only getting used to the premier league. Couple that with the fact that we have a lot of players in his position. As the weeks go by, he will get some starts and he will be given the chance to show what he can do.

    Surprised by Smalling not being included. I thought Mourinho would give him minutes since he was one of his starters against, for instance, City in two weeks. Smalling is going to have to fight for his place. And with the additional Fonte business, it's not looking so good for him.
