    Of course not. LvG was happy with the first half. We controlled the game and didn't give any chances away. Probably had a sly wank in the dressing room at half time.. YEESH YEESH ISH GOOD

    Carrick plays the ball lights years quicker and with more purpose than Schweinsteier. Of course it's a problem. I'm not in the business of defending Rooney too much but it's easier to play with ball moved quicker than when the opposition already have their shape. He's not exactly doing much defending so it's not a lot to ask he do more than take an age to play the ball sideways.
     
    United and LVG still getting ripped at the start of the second half on TV here. That might be significant because any Glazers that have not made the trip over will be watching this feed.

    Sheffield aren't giving them much space or the players they want to pass to are being well marked.

    The problem is obviously more down to the manager and coaching than any of the players. Our problems are so consistent and we play the same way, generally regardless of who is in what position. It's the way they have been told to play, and it doesn't work

    I am fairly certain no sane football executive will base the decision whether to fire his manager on the commentary of a pundit.

    I'm just interested how you came to the conclusion that Van Gaal hasn't been the sole target for almost all of the complaints made in the club's direction both on here and in the wider media. It defies all possible evidence.

    Yes. But a good manager at this level should come up with ideas tbf it feels like he is a dead man walking.
