I'm surprised we haven't had someone on here claim Van Gaal recommended him yet.Would it really be that difficult to just try that double pivot that got us great performances and results against top teams again? Or any other moderately attacking approach?It would be wonderful if fans stopped showing up until half time, to reflect the pointlessness of every first half we play.We are too slow to create anything.
It crezy to think our most attacking player is Blind. And he is CB.I have noticed as well that the odd time they are passing the ball too hard to someone who is a foot away.It would be an embarrassment taking this lot to a replay.

It just doesn't compute how much of a real improvement we can expect from this team. There are so few reasons for hope.
Assuming it's ASCII, it could be NULL followed by EOT (end of transmission) and they've made a start on the third character. Alternatively we're seeing the trailing 0-0 of a previous character and a NULL followed by DLE (datalink escape).

No it's not. We're ponderous as a team because that's the system. Our biggest issue is the standard of attackers we have, and the system/what LVG is getting out them. It's weird for people to constantly blame Schneiderlin, Carrick and Schweinsteiger. Who are they supposed to pass it fast to exactly? Rooney? The guy plays like he's ancient and can't keep the ball in tight spaces.
And they're not even supposed to be our creators. They have to control the game for us.

But if you are playing a high possession game designed to break down tightly organized defences, you need to stack your team with players with high technical ability. We certainly don't need to play with two DM's. I understand Fellaini's positioning is as a nominal DM but he's also utterly pointless unless you are using his aerial ability. Mata should be playing in Fellaini's position, or Perreira.

That LvG's team talk?I know this will anoy some here but to me a huge part of the problem is the midfield pair of Mata and Herrerra. Neither of them is strong enough on the ball - they can be eased off with minimal contact and when they do hold on to it, their passing is terrible. We need far better quality in midfield not to mention not needing to holding midfielders against a League One side. Another dull fest - for goodness sake board have some guts and get rid of LVG and his boring philosophyyeah, bringing on Memphis will save us!well, if we lose this, there is no way the board can't sack LVG....right?
So it's just a coincidence that literally every attacking player apart from martial has been largely useless bar little runs of form since Van Gaal took over? Van Persie, Falcao, Di Maria, Memphis, Rooney, Mata, Herrera, etc... These are all good players bar Falcao who was shit due to the injury. But the others? Van Gaal just ruins attacking players and doesn't encourage a style that lends itself to good attacking playto take it a bit more positively never thought I could learn for exams when we're on.- Status
