    I'll just say they were 2-0 in the reverse fixture so I won't be sitting comfy till we get a 3rd
     
    As comfortable as you could ask for other than that 10 minute period after the water break

    Still some obvious rust in the works but getting better

    He hasn't been that bad, it's just been comfortable for us. Did you miss his turn to take the Sheffield midfield out of the game just before half-time? The sharpness is there, i wouldn't be surprised to see him bag one in the 2nd half now that it opens up a bit.
     
    Really impressed by Matic. For some reason I'd written him off a while ago but can't remember his last poor game.

    The attempts to make something happen are vital. For too long we've been too unadventurous in possession. It's no wonder we've struggled to break down defensive teams when our plan A seems to be safe sideways/backwards passing.

    Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

    He hasn't placed a proper pass all half.
     
    Luke Shaw is not very good today (and neither is Rashford, of course)
     
    All of our midfielders are classy on the ball and can play through the lines. So refreshing to watch

    Rashford is not piss poor at all, he creates the first goal and has got into some excellent positions, he’s missed a couple of chances sure but he’s a massive threat.

    Yep loving the balls in between the lines, and the lay offs, that little interplay ending with the rashford air kick was amazing.

    Woww.. just wow.. He's like a peak Pirlo on this game. Bringing the ball from deep position, long pass, sharp pass.
     
    Really good first half. I really enjoyed watching it, though I would have been a little frustrated has we not gotten a second before the break. Martial has an entire half to get that elusive hat-trick! No pressure!

    I thought we were more comfortable after the drinks break tbh, second goal has killed us now though.
     
    Good game. Shaw has no idea what he is doing but apart from that I feel everyone has done well. Greenwood needs to get involved a bit more.
     
    I think matic has been our best midfielder today. He needs to coach mctominay on how to drop deep and receive the ball while moving with it further upfield.

    Bruno has also had a mare with the amount of final balls he ha given away.

    rashford should have 2 goals also.
     
    Was really pleasing seeing how many players we had in the box for the second goal. Midfield looks great.
