    Martial, Sancho, Antony, Bruno and Sabitzer together is exciting. Feels like one too many attackers and the balance might be off, but let’s hope they are cooking! Excited.
     
    It's a good 11. Let's see if Martial is on it, or on sleeping pills, I hope he's awake we fecking need him, now and later games so please stay fit. Fancy him to get a goal tonight. Casimero back is a plus. Come on lads..

    Dalot is our most frustrating player together with Fred. They mix some great passing with some Sunday league passing. A cross from Dalot can end up anywhere in the stadium. Schrodinger's cat is more predictable.

    I don’t get it either. Our squad is paper thin compared to the other contenders. In an ideal world I wouldn’t sell anybody, Maguire included. We need to add depth and quality to the squad
     
    Great to see Iqbal's name on the bench. Hope things go really well and we're able to get him some minutes. I know it's unlikely as both Fred and Eriksen are there too, but still.

    Completely agree with this. Every trophy is worth winning. Ironically, the teams that seem to prioritise one competition over another never actually end up winning anything. The 'big' teams go for absolutely everything.

    I’m not quite sure about that. I think EtH would not often select Fred as a starter but he does like him in the mosquito role as a third CM when need arises. I’d be surprised if Fred got less game time than McT if everyone was fit but maybe EtH prefers McT if Case is out.

    Good team today. Nice not to have to pick either of McFred.

    But you're talking about a period of time when United were a well oiled machine. He was able to do that after they had already won multiple trophies, built up an impressive squad, and with promising youngsters coming through an exciting academy. It's easier to play kids in the cups when you are already on top and are in serious positions to win multiple competitions - both at home and in Europe.

    Absolutely. Especially from our perspective. We want to win as many trophies as we can

    Always been my view.

    Picking and choosing may make sense from a physical perspective but it's the mental side that ultimately wins stuff and that edge is out of the window the moment you decide losing certain games doesn't matter.

    Just look at how City are firing on all cylinders while Arsenal started wobbling the moment they had to mix it up with a lower priority EL.
